I've had good and bad experiences here, it all depends on who you get, latest time I had to go twice, first lady was super nice, informative, got me everything I needed and was perfect, second time I get told by a different person that now bc there is a pen mark on the date that I'm gonna be charged an extra month of late fees, YOUR NOT DETECTIVES AND SHOULDNT BE DEMANDING MORE MONEY FOR SOMETHING SO TRIVIAL, ESPECIALLY AFTER I WAS ALREADY CLEARED BY ANOTHER HELPER, THE MANAGER HERE IS RUDE AND INCOMPETENT!!! If you go here unfortunately your rolling the dice on how much help your gonna get

Was the worst experience I have ever had, my first visit was good, they were helpful, my second visit, I was told I needed to fax some papers to Kansas, the lady faxed it and said she never got a confirmation, told me to call Kansas, I asked, for the number, and was told if I had the number I would call have called them, so I went to ups to fax it myself, found out the lady was faxing it to the wrong number, it took 2 months to get my title and then I went back and was told I had to get a new inspection, mine was expired, I still haven't got my vehicle tagged and I have been trying since April, never going back there.

This is the best DMV to go to in town. They work efficiently and effectively. Everywhere is going to have lines and take time, but they work the best to move quickly. Today , they were hit with a horrible experience when a person shattered glass on one of the workers. It caused some delays as the staff were taken into the back. But they returned and worked hard to move us through the line. Unfortunately, some Karen yelled at them showing no empathy for the attack. This staff does a great job in a thankless role.

Best DMV experience ever. Had to go twice this week and both times I waited about 15 minutes in line but they were fast and well staffed. Even had one guy throwing a fit about something clearly his fault, but they were very professional about it. DMV stuff is frustrating, but the people here were awesome

No never open on Saturday.
county doesn't matter as long as it's still Missouri
Who are the people giving out these answers??? Yes you can go get a temp tag from the DMV, must have insurance proof.
Do I need to make an appointment to renewal plate tags?
Can we change international driver license there
Ive not found this branch to be super responsive to phone calls - they are pretty all hands on deck for moving their line in branch pretty quickly!
Not this location the one on Antioch
Any kind of mail will do for the most part so long as it's from something official like an insurance company or medical bills. Something like that should work ok.
Walk in only, but luckily they usually move the DL people through there pretty quickly.
Birth certificate at Health Department and marriage license courthouse where you married the state
I am not sure about the tittle license but you can definitely get a plate there.
Good question lol
wish we all knew these answers but it's best to call them or stop by and get official word cause we can make up stuff or tell you wrong
Get in line and wait like everyone else
Dont think I saw anyone picking up a phone. Maybe try to call a different location (downtown)?
Google "MO DOR stolen plates". Had this happen once. Skip waiting for the police report and it's like $6. That sucks, sorry.
6-10 Business Days
Yes you can get your license renewed there and they're pretty quick I do not know the phone number.
Certified birth certificate and picture ID school work ect. And two current utilities bills with current address within 30 days no cut off
They should be able to give you copy if your receipt
Birth cert. Or SS Card, Proof of address, payment for it.
No
Yes ma'am you should be able to just walk in.
I believe you have to go in to change your address.
You can just walk in.
Utility bills with your name on it at the new address, bank statement or city correspondence.
Renew your tags so you don't get a ticket go ahead and relocate when the tags are about to expire again get the new tags where are you relocated to only get the one-year tags and Kansas City though don't get the two years at the end of that one-year renewal at your relocation home
They do not have that posted on their door, just Monday through Friday. However, there is another DMV located in Raytown and they are open on Saturdays.
I always go after 1 pm , they aren't as busy.
Take your driver's license go to Kinkos and make a copy.
Passport, green card, military ID
I just went in . But you can e-mail but it takes 24 hours for a response.
I know that is open Only the last Saturday of every month, but I don't know if this holiday weekend, is.
Yes you should
This one is open one Saturday morning per month. I think it's the last Saturday, but I'm not sure
Nope but my experience and others were quick moving lines so should be no problem. Might have to wait outside for some of it because of covid.
No
Basically what Kyle said, but best to check the official list so you don't have to go twice. https://dor.mo.gov/motorv/titling.php
I would give them a call,I did and was able to be seen w/I an hour
Contact a lawyer to see if they can straighten this situation out
When I was there last week 3 people came in asking and were told they had to have an appt. To get appt you go there same day and it is first come first served, so you want to go early. They will put you in a list. If they have room to social distance you get to sit inside, otherwise they have you wait in your car until its your turn.
NO. That is a county tax. DMV ia a state motor vehicle license location.
If you have your payment confirmation and proof of insurance that should be sufficient
For any license requests (renewals, acquiring the new Missouri Real ID, new State ID etc.) yes you'll need an appointment. If you need to process a request for the Tags/Plates on your car, no you don't need an appointment. You can only schedule an appointment by arriving IN PERSON around 8a before they officially open at 9a and they'll pencil you in if they haven't reached their threshold for the day. Hope this helps!
Depending on if you are strictly wanting a state issued ID, regular driver's license or REAL ID compliant license will determine exactly what you would need. The following link provides answers to the latter two though: https://dor.mo.gov/drivers/checklist.php If you strictly want to renew a state ID and change of address though: you only need to bring in the old ID, have you social security number and a piece of mail with your new name/address on it.
You cannot because they won't have them in the office. They will mail them to you.
Yes you can. you will have to call ahead and make an appointment because all the business that they're conducting out of that office is by appointment only.and actually the website has list of documents that you'll need to bring with you. But yes it can be done. Btw, say hi to Erika for me
You need to call the State go online and it will tell you what you need to do
Proof of residency (a bill or paycheck stub with your name and current address), social security card, birth certificate, and if you have it, state id from previous state.
I think says exactly on your renewal noticed that they sent you on the mail. Could start somewhere around $30
I went in for tags today. Walked right in was out in less than 30 mins. Was there last week or so for drivers license renewal, they gave me a time to come back. Again, was out in less than 30 mins.
You can renew up to 6 months prior to your expiration date. So your wife can renew her's next month.
Go before office opens and get a appointment for that day. Doing so you will not have to wait there forever. And can simply get in and out during your scheduled time in less than 10 min.
Yes, but if you are able to be there around 7:30 am , stand in line till 8:30 am or so you can have a same day appointment
Call dmv they will tell you
No appointments and definitely less people there compared to other DMVs
No appointments can be made. First come first served. However they go through the line and anyone there for driver licenses or Id issues are given a time to be back. All other business waits in line. I was there 30 min before open and out of there in an hour or so.
I believe it's under the licensing option. There's two options I know of when scheduling appointments. Pick the one that deals with license renewal. And you should receive an appointment but they're up to a month waiting
The way I understood it was you don't need an appointment for vehicle items (though you may have to wait in line outside for a while) but I know for licenses you have to show up at 8 (even though they dont open until 9), wait in line until they send someone out to take your name down and return at the time slot they give you on that same day.
You have 8 years old car with only 64 miles? How does that happen? In your case car is less than 10 years old and less than 150,000 miles - no you don't need inspection
The don't open until 9am, but I'm sure the are clósed on Friday because of the holiday.
Since its expired. Retest in MO. Then after you pass take the test paper, plus your social and birth certificate with an official proof of residency to the license office.
Yes because thats not the police station
9to5. And I think they are doing lines still. But pay close attention to the directions. They will call out for Drivers and car stuff separately.
No. That is down by the highway patrol. There's a testing center in Gladstone.
Appts are done at 9 am. You have to be there in person.
It is a walk in location. But they do give out daily appointments in case they are busy. If you go there at 9am, they come out with a clipboard and give you a time that day to come back.
If you're only practicing, no but if it's going to be obtaining a government issued ID yes, you need to have the requiring documents in order to obtain a permit and a license.
$12 for 3 years . or.. $18 for 6 years
Idk. But they might have some info on their website
If you want to get license plate for your new car you have to have Personal property tax clearance Inspection Insurance You can get inspection from any mechanic shop they charge $12 to $20
Go to the office, you will be asked to take a eye test before the renewal is done. Take along personal documents for verification.
Piece of official mail, and social security card. That's what I used
Birth certificate and social security card and your current license.
The office is closed on Thursday and Friday and will be open again Monday the 26th.
You'll get a temporary paper copy, and the actual card will come in the mail in about 2 weeks.
Cash or check to avoid the fee. But you can also pay with debit or credit card for a fee of about 2. 2% no matter which one you use.
I dont think yiu can do that at the license branch. I think folks with a dealer license are the only ones tgat can produce temp tags. There is a penalty for not paying your taxes in 30 days in Missouri. Kansas it is longer.
Yes. Best time to go is mid-morning.
