I absolutely love this place, my dad would take me here when I was little to visit the animals. It was very upsetting to hear that they’re removing the animals but it won’t replace how great this park is! There are plenty of nice views near the lake, there are plenty of different sports you can play here, and it’s big enough to take a nice walk around and enjoy the scenery!

Wonderful park Thompson Park, it really good park for the whole family you can make your party , gathering, kids groups over there, There’s a lot of places to seating and grilling enjoying your day

Had a family picnic in the park. Clean picnic area. Plenty of parking, although I didn't see disabled parking. Terrain was difficult to maneuver in my wheelchair because of so many tree roots sticking out of the ground.

Technically only the lighted areas that are posted as such. I recommend that you please check with the Parks Department Office to inquire about permission and permits for star watching ⭐✨✨
If the park closes, so do all of the park sites...
They have a slope where everyone is sledding when there is enough snow, but that's about it.
I really don't think so I'm in the park quite often And I never see nobody hitting golf ball's The parke is huge and there's people all over the place so I wouldn't think it would be a good idea
