Very clean and cooperative staff, caring the elderly very well.

I was looking for long-term placement for a loved one and spoke with Rebecca in admissions on the phone. She was incredibly friendly and helpful guiding me through the process and made me feel at ease in weighing my options. I did not have the same experience calling other centers, so she made me feel much more prepared to make my decision going forward.

TL;DR: we considered this facility and were ghosted after confirmation of availability and rejection via case workers. We do not have direct experience with this facility. The long version: my loved one was recovering at a sub-acute rehab center. I was looking for the next step in her care and considered Cranbury Center. I reached out and received confirmation from Rebecca Detweiler that there are 3 Medicaid beds available and they would be open to accepting the patient. I put Ms. Detweiler in touch with case workers at the facility where my loved one was cared for to send the record (contact by email). The case worker was then told that the center would not accept my loved one and I was told that this was based on concerns regarding contents of communication that I forwarded, which included significant back-and-forth with the case worker regarding finding the next facility. I reached out by email and phone to Ms. Detweiler to offer clarification and answer any questions. The rejection came after I sent the email. I did not receive a response of any sort to emails or calls - I was effectively ghosted. This is not retail. This is healthcare. Ghosting patients seems grossly disrespectful, so I expect that if they cannot engage prospects respectfully before admitting them, I would be apprehensive about level of care in this facility.

After calling Granbury Center to ask what the visiting hours are, I was informed that they start visiting hours at 10:00 am. I don't know if that is every day or just the weekend.
I don't know if the facility accepts AARP Medicare comp,et's United healthcare so I'd strongly suggest calling or going there in person to talk with someone qualified to answer this question.
