For the last 8 years we have had a live in care giver for my parents ages 95 and 101. During this period, we have had 2 women both of whom we have been very happy with. However our current care giver (the 2nd one) who has been with my parents for the last 3 years, is the absolute best! Not only does she provide loving and supportive care, but she has come up with some very creative things to do with my parents like getting dressed up for Halloween to hand out candy and going to Grounds for Sculpture. She is the model care giver and we are so blessed to have her. In the past we also needed some hourly help during the day on a temporary basis. While we were lucky enough to have gotten one really good care giver, several other women were not the best, ie. cancelling at the last minute, requesting to leave early or just not being very helpful. CK always keeps me in the loop and advises me of any changes. Overall they have done a very good job of training their live in care givers. I have recommended CK to friends with care giving needs and will continue to do so.
