Go before office opens and get a appointment for that day. Doing so you will not have to wait there forever. And can simply get in and out during your scheduled time in less than 10 min.

If you want to renew your DL, make sure to get there between 8 and 9. They'll set you up with an appointment for later in the day. Once you do that, you can be in and out in 10 minutes.
