Loved this park! We did the sailing tour and it was definitely worth the money. We were also able to paddle board and snorkel. A must stop if you are in the area.

This was the greatest gem of our entire 2 weeks in Florida. Had we realized what an amazing place this is, and how wonderful the boat tours are, we would have booked multiple days for Biscayne National Park. I highly recommend the boat tour, and I hope to do snorkeling and kayaking at a future visit.

Biscayne National Park was the best surprise of my entire trip to Florida! The park is mostly underwater which I was perplexed by until I took a snorkeling trip out to the mangroves. The mangroves were full of fish and wildlife and were so much cooler to experience than I imagined! The tour guides at Biscayne National Park Institute made the snorkeling experience amazing and I highly recommend booking a tour through them!

We spent a couple hours here on the mangrove paddling tour. Our tour guides were very knowledgeable, and the scenery was beautiful. Learning more about the park was fantastic. The mangroves were very interesting, and the water was beyond clear. We also got to see several manatees! My only complaint is not having enough time to visit more of the park. Amazing place!

Yes
Biscayne National Park is mostly made up of Biscayne Bay. It is almost entirely underwater. There are a couple of islands on the outside. And then there's some of the coast. The county park there has an atoll swimming beach. That means is surrounded by land and it is a small Lagoon for swimming that you can know absolutely sure there is nothing that can hurt you or your kids. People do not hesitate to swim in Biscayne Bay. However there are crocodile's a few. There are sharks many. There is Slim to little chance that either would ever bother you. But there you go. I would call ahead to the park headquarters and ask about any Boat Trip activity. You have to pay to get on one but it will be incredibly memorable event. Try your hardest to get on the water. The atoll Beach is decent. It is not an Oceanfront Beach period for that go to Key Biscayne where there are two places Crandon Park and Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park. Or for the maximum crazy Miami Beach experience go to South Bea
Taking the boat ride to the light house, if you do at sunsets you gonna love it
The word Biscayne usually refers to the Basque region of Spain or people from the Basque region. Some have attributed the name to shipwrecked sailor called "Biscaino" from the Bay of Biscay who lived here for a time.
2 or 3 would be good. Just be aware most of the park is covered in water and you'll need to arrange a way to get to the islands to enjoy the whole thing.
You can snorkel alone
It's better
To get there you need a boat ride. A very relaxing place to visit . Been there fishing and doing a bbq you will see people camping. Great place try it.
And
It's not normal, I imagine they reported it to security
Let me check. I would say absolutely but we will need to know about the life jackets if they have them for the baby. I cant see any other reason why they'd say no
Yes
I have heard so...She has large wings and flies very slow, depending on the passenger's weight. She is FREE if you can find her. That said, there is no Ferry boat that takes you back and forth to the sites.
It is against the law to take things from national parks short answer none
Yes.
They rent kayaks and paddel boards, also they have grills available. Mostly it's a great place for peace and site seeing.
no.
Yep! As long as the dog is on a leash.
The water there is Crystal clear most of the time. If you get taken to the outer keys like Elliot it's pretty good.
Yes dog are allowed
No. Crystal clear water al around!
Mariah you can camp on Biscayne Bay in an island called Boca Chita or Elliott key. It's normally $25 per night.
No, however one was seen I believe at Black Point Marina.
Too far. Even if you could get a ride to Elliot Key it would still be a long paddle.
We have about 10 days of cold throughout the year if you're unlucky enough to come in those 10 days then you're just unlucky. November is a great month because it's not scorching hot and you'll be a little bit more comfortable. The Summers can create a lot more rain.
$39 Adults/$29 children, last boat ridel is at 4:30.
And
We were 4, a Sunday, and we ate without problems in 2 places with Bands Bluseras without problems.
