Visited Labor Day weekend on Saturday, saw a live demonstration of a Revolutionary War rifle, walked the 1.5 mile (lots of uphill) benches to sit on along the way, self guided audio tour via cell phone, nice wide paved path.Plus, there's a 30 minute movie in the air conditioned visitor center. I highly recommend this, very interesting!

Although this park is located in a mountainous area, there are no volcanoes. There is a beautiful area of escarpment nearby, with many state and regional parks and natural resources.
Yes, there is a museum & theater, there to check out these things.
The visitor center is open Wednesday through Saturday, from 10-4.
