This place is awesome and all the animals definitely love Alexis! She was so awesome and it was a very informative tour. You do not get to touch any big cat but you do get to hold the baby gator, snake, and tarantula as well a touch a cute fluffy animal (sorry, i can't remember its species) If you're worried about it being stinky, it's not. You may get a whiff of stinky for a couple of seconds but it's very clean there. Everyone is so nice and the animals are so gorgeous! Just go!

Very clean and healthy looking animals! organized and kind workers. It was a fun experience and I would recommend checking this place out if you want a little more personal setting Signed up for the tour on Friday. They have restrooms here but if you need to go during a tour you'll be escorted back. You stuck together as a group and are not allowed to wander off alone. Looks to have plenty of parking outside the premise. once inside, they have tables to sit underneath the shade as well as water bottles to buy You're allowed to touch the animals and handle them at your own risk as stated by the sign A very cool place that takes care of the animals here

I would highly recommend visiting McCarthys Wildlife Sanctuary during your stay in south Florida! The staff were very knowledgeable and amazing, it’s easy to get to and the grounds were clean and beautiful. Not to mention, the animals seemed very happy and enjoyed us visiting!

We had Such an awesome experience today at the McCarthys wildlife sanctuary. I highly recommend it. We took a two hour guided tour and learned so much about all the animals. Our guide was awesome. You can tell she loves the animals. They are all well cared for and their habitats are all clean. Thank you, we will be back again.

It is 40$ for adults and 30$ for children (ages: 5-15) this does not include extra fees :) hope that helped
Saturday it is open 11am to 1pm however they work under reservations only. Highly recommend calling them to make sure the times/days you would like are available. Hope this helps.
Depends on your definition of long distance. It's a strolling pace with many stops along the way. Occasionally there are benches to sit on for a couple people to sit on while the guide is talking.
Yes it is, the walking path that you walk along for the tour is dirt & gravel, but not so gavely that a wheel chair wouldn't move on it. You should be fine. 😁
Is this the place that used to be on by the guy that played Tarzan Johnnie Walker
A sanctuary should never let people handle the animals
call them, perhaps they can accommodate you.
No, but they will feed some so they are very close. They don't even get in the cage with them anymore as they are too big now😊
That is a question best answered if you call them directly.
What would make you think an electric shock from a stun gun or tazer would nullify the poisonous venom from any viper?
Yes, they appreciate any donations to help taker of their animals.
You can call or use McCarthy's website
Not sure about refunds for weather. There are umbrellas available throughout and there are benches all around. On the upside, if it rains the tigers love it!!
Correct. They take in and save these animals from people who tried to have them as illegal exotic pets
No, it's not that big :) But why are you asking this?????!
Call rhe office i am sure they will
No they're closed
Its free. All animal encounters are included with the admission!
