This is an outstanding place to visit. It’s located at the northern end of Okeeheelee Park, which is a large Palm Beach County park offering all types of activities. I’ve only been to the Nature Center three times and this was the first time the Nature Center was open. On our latest visit, my wife and I took my mother there to go inside the center and walk on the paths behind the Nature Center The Nature Center itself is great for both kids and adults. Walking in we were greeted by a volunteer who was very friendly and gave us a quick overview of the Nature Center. As other people entered she would greet each group giving them a quick overview and handing out maps and the event schedule. She was eager to answer questions and give us advice on what to do. We happened to be there at feeding time for their owl. The naturalist was also friendly and informative. She spent time telling us about the owl and what else she does at the center. Behind the Nature Center there are a couple of miles of paths and trails. The main paths are paved making easy access for people with walkers, wheelchairs or baby carriages. Benches are located along the path. There are also wooded paths which are never busy. The wooded paths are easy to walk on with trail signs at every intersection. I’ll be back to the Nature Center many times.

What a nice nature center and incredible staff. I attended there remarkable reptiles class and what a well put together problem. Such an informative class with live animals. Will definitely be going back for more classes.

Great experience. We did the guided nature tour with Alex. She was terrific. All of the folks were extremely friendly and there are lots of trails to explore on tour own. Definitely something to check out with the family on a nice weather day.

The staff were very friendly and highly knowledgeable, especially the teens they had there helping them. The Crocodile feeding was an amazing experience as well. It was a nice walk around the entire park, just enjoying the scenery and being one with nature
