Nice but the new pool is so small And it's so much closer to the road. Me personally I would rather have the old pool back. Not what I remember as a kid.

We had a good time during our three night stay. It's a shame the lake is no longer there or it'd rate a 5. The cabin was clean and cozy and there is no cell service, which makes camping exactly what it should be…low stress and no distractions. The community bathrooms/showers are very clean and the staff is friendly and accommodating.

Ryerson Station State Park is the hidden gem of Greene County. Due to the removal of the lake this park does not get as much traffic as it should. They are in the process of rebuilding the pool area, it will be fantastic when complete sometime in the second half of 2021.

It's actually several trails. Most are not loops but terminate at other decently-marked trails. Grab a map at the park office or download one and you should be able to plot your own loop. PS I was there recently and one of the 2 ways over the waterway was closed so plan to cross at the swimming pool entrance

Im not sure I know they delayed the opening due to lack of lifeguards. You'd have contact them directly.

Im not even sure it opened yet. The last I heard they delayed the opening because they couldn't get enough lifeguards.
