No cell phone reception with Verizon and other carriers. This can be a big plus for me and some others. Make sure your navigation is ready to start without cell phone reception. Great beach. Small area to kayak. Some wild life. Saw a foot long turtle.

A beautiful park. If you are in the area and like site seeing and nature this a must go too.

This place is truly a hidden gem. Located in NE Huntingdon County Pennsylvania you are truly in the middle of nowhere and it is awesome. We could only spend one night here and couldn't explore much due to arriving late but the morning views were spectacular and the night sky had very little light pollution.

Greenwood Furnace is a Pennsylvania State park (not a national park). You can visit here for free. Check the national park website for info on national park passes (nps.gov)
All sites have electricity hookups. Water pumps licated nearby. I belive there are only 2 tent sites without either, but only 100 yards from bathroom and water pump. Also state park website gives great info.
No they don't have a water hookup but they do have electricity. You can fill up before going in and there are plenty of places in the campground you can get water. Hope this helps.
I'm not sure that it would cost you anything. I imagine you would just call to reserve the pavilion that you wished to use. It's a state park so they would probably be in charge of that.
Yes there is a handicapped ramp
There are forty-nine tent campsites and forty-four campsites have either 30 or 50-amp electric hook-ups. Pets are permitted at designated campsites for a fee. There's a shower house has flush toilets, warm showers, and sinks for dishwashing. So I don't think you'll have any problems with wildlife.
I think there are just a few trails right around the lake where all the pavilions are but I'm not sure about any other place.
Yes
Best of my knowledge, there aren't any cabins .
The closest store is Couches (They don't have the longest hours, so go during the day). I'm not sure of any laundry mats in the area, but I'd be willing to bet there's one in Belleville.
I have Verizon and could find no signal...ANYtime I've been there. Kinda nice actually! Lol
About $28/night for PA residents
Call the park office. Hours vary.
Their Facebook page says its from 8-1 pm.
Saturday 20th. Usually something going on for much of the day, not sure the exact time of the plunge but think it's maybe 1 or 2pm?
