A quote from this "church" which conveniently disappeared: "Some of the best Christians we know are atheist or agnostic. The worst are these kind of evangelicals." To deny the deity of Jesus-- who is THE CHRIST-- is ANTI-CHRISTIAN! Read your bibles & see!

I love this place, these people. This is the first church where I have felt truly loved and accepted, even though I have been to other "liberal" churches before this. Christopher makes the Bible fascinating. This is a revolutionary church, and that is what I and so many other people are needing, especially after being scarred by the type of "religion" espoused by the trolls posting 1-star reviews here. GPCC is doing a lot of service, truly practicing what Jesus preached, and bringing Christianity back to its roots. I can't wait until the brewery opens and I can support the church while also having yummy food. These folks are the best!

Bad theology and a misunderstanding of the word "love". They call civil discourse "Hate Speech" when it is a view they disagree with. Either they are blind to their own ignorance or they are intentionally inflammatory. They claim to be inclusive, but they intentionally exclude the majority of Christianity. How can they claim to be part of the body when they want nothing to do with the body? Ironically enough, these people are extremely bigoted.

I personally cannot rate the sermons, but I can rate the interactions I have had with their “Pastor” and others. They call Jesus a Palestinian, and when called on to correct this (by a Jew), they goysplain. I would be wary of any church that doesn’t have a grasp of Jesus’s own identity + being. They then removed the comments and apparently a staff member said Jews killed Jesus. While the latter is common enough in the US, this immature behaviour indicates to me that this is not a place someone should attend unless they feel comfortable with immaturity from their clergy + Church leadership.

We are a progressive, community where all people are safe and affirmed. We welcome the LGBTQ community as well and affirm their identity. We are Christian based, but all faiths, and atheists are welcome to join us. No judgements. We are a movement of wholeness in a fractured world. We are environmentalists. We are feminists. We believe in social justice. We believe in economic fairness. We believe that Jesus wanted to teach others how to build a better world, not a better church building. We believe that LOVE WINS.

True story Marc! Why people care more about alcohol than hatred is beyond me. Handled responsibly, it's fine. Hatred, however, cannot be responsibly taught in church ...
