I haven't scrapped in years since I've been in my own business fencing , but when I use to scrap i would always drive the extra mile just to deal with leanard because he is a honest man, leanard is the best in business number 1# on the charts !

Do you guys buy Cadillac converters? I had to replace the one on my car and I hear they are worth money.

You will need to call the shop tomorrow, if we open due to weather, to get a current price. 336-731-1200
Yes we purchase car batteries
Yes David is correct. They are graded by numbers. But you must provide us with a business license before we can buy them. NC State Law.
You will need to call 336-731-1200 for a current price
I'm sorry but we don't sell parts
Would you please tell me what day and time that happened please?
Right now $3.50 a pound and wires have to be cut.
We do. If anyone sells us carbide we call that day to get a price. That's an item that is sold rarely.
They vary from day to day and it will depend on the scrap metal you have. The higher quality the scrap metal you have the better the price is for everything. Also Converters took a big hit this week.
Not till Monday
It can vary clean aluminum is more don't have the list on me. But you can call and ask. The best part about them is you have people helping off load. And they take batteries no one else does
Prices dropped off a few weeks back and then came up last week. Prepared steel was around 7.50 and cast iron 8. Or more. The secret is to take a larger load. Hold on to the scrap metal you have as much as possible and watch the prices, but caring a larger load yields a few bucks more than a small load. He has to pay the unloading guys and 2000 lbs or 1 ton of cast iron versus 5 tons or 10,000 pounds could be the difference between 7$$ a 100 or (.07 ) cents lb, for the ton and 10$$$ pound for 5 ton. Same goes for all the scrap metal under 100 for higher quality the scrap metal you have the better the price is. Just keep copper under 100 lbs or you have to show that it's not hot.
.35Ib for now.
They will be closed from saturday 23 to Tuesday 26 they are open everything Saturday
