Good Intentions (Mitchell)
Lanier Ace Hardware, I like them and the twin brothers who own it. They are very helpful, their customer service is top notch, and they always pretty much have what you need. The only reason they don't get a five star rating is because they mark their prices up on stuff sometimes 200% more than other stores. So, though it is very convient and the customer service is fantastic, it is expensive, but worth it.

Omg this store is a hidden gem. It reminds me of the old five.and dime buy also a hallmark store and hardware store and home decor. They even sell vintage stoves heaters home decor. This place is soo big but so homey and people are so helpful. I drove 30 minutes to do am online pickup. And would do it again. But dont park on main street. I did and someone hit my driver side truck mirror and broke it. Not the stores fault but come on people. They have adequate parking in back that i didnt know about till after i went in. You must visit this place. And there was a great little vintage store next door great prices and unique items.

This place is fantastic. If you need it, they have it. If you don't need it, they still have it. If you can't imagine ever needing it, yep, they have it. Awesome inventory, VERY helpful and attentive employees, and fair prices. I wish this store was in my town, but it's still worth the occasional half hour drive.

Went to purchase chain saw after weeks of looking.I chose here verses Lowe’s to support small business and always been treated fairly. However, today was a different story. I give 2 stars because the gentlemen that helped me (Kelly) was excellent went above and beyond to help me, answer all my questions. He truly was phenomenal, if I have to go back to handle any warrenty things regarding my purchase I will see him and only him. Now, to fun part, I was disrespected not once but twice by 2 separate people is a understatement and one of those being upper management. I have always shopped here and never had a problem. After today I will not shop with the exception of my warranty with my purchase and once that is up will never return. Cashier was rude from the start with customers in front of us and behind us including us. Over charged me $139 plus tax and when I nicely tried to ask her to take a look at it again continued to get very mad. I was completely puzzled by the fact she was acting this way and trying to respect her the customers behind me I felt as if I was rushed and not given the opportunity to simply ask again about my purchase that was double charged. The card reader had already processed my tap to pay and transaction was completed. I then was rushed out the door ask for my receipt and was rudely told where she put it after I had to ask. Spoke with Kelly again outside after he went over my chainsaw with me and he in fact agreed based off reading my receipt I was charged double for 1 product. He nicely said walk with me in here and we can get your money right back. Needless to say the cashier was rude with him and still would not slow down long enough to allow someone to nicely explain. Pointed fingers when no one was pointing fingers. I was then taken to a separate counter and then had to go back to get my refund. After standing in line again patiently waiting another lady from upper management had come and got me to fix it and stated she did not want anymore mistakes to happen. Which I appreciate her being kind about however things quickly changed again when she changed her approach/attitude tried to blame me when in fact even though I was double charged I was not being rude or disrespectful. She not only disrespected me but a friend that was with me. I asked for cash back verses going back on my card of which I used to purchase and she hesitated to tell me no and then tried to tell me they had a policy that can’t get cash back due to I could dispute the charge with my bank and get double the money back. Well, as I told her I’m not that type of person and that is fraud. She would not give me my cash back and told me my money would go back on my card the next day of which i informed her it would not because the way my bank processes refunds/charges that it would take 5-7 business days. She informed me that if it wasn’t back on my card the next day to call her. I understand everyone is human and we all make mistakes in which I make them everyone does I was nice and respectful trying to tell both of these ladies that without being mad however they took the wrong approach and decided to be disrespectful and point fingers at the customer they just double charged. I was puzzled by the way I had been treated and then how management handle the situation on top of. Stating the cashier was ready to leave and that she will talk with her and sees many errors here but best to let her sleep on it. I get that however, I feel as if they could have handled this situation better than they did. Right is right and wrong is wrong. The customer is not always right however your approach and how well you handle a situation good or bad goes a long way especially in a business that is as reputable as this one. As stated I have shopped here for awhile and send business here. However, after this trip I can’t help but think that I will be treated with same disrespect and don’t want to risk the frustration. I will take my money/time to drive extra miles to avoid the headache. And still don’t have my money back.

Great store customer service great 👍
They do
They have alot of different ones. If they don't have it , you probably don't need it !
They should have. They usually carry just about everything. I have never went in there looking for something and they not have it.
Go to army navy down the street. Laniers carries alot but if its not there id check down the street
You can call the store and ask for the parts desk. They will be able to answer that better for you.
Yes. Garrett Freedom Ace.
I'm not 100% sure, but I don't believe they do.
I think Laniers and Lowe's. It used to be at Hedgecoocks builders before they shut down. Their main competition was GW Smith lumber off center Street, but I've never been in there to know for sure.
I'm not sure. I got#20 pool sand. Ordered online and picked up same day. It was the easiest online order and pick up I've ever done. If you look on their web page and find it clicking order will tell you if it's in stock or not before you go.
Yes, they should have that saw. I don't know a price but call or walk in they will be glad to help you.
I don't know, but I would call and ask them.
Look on letgo. I.see.em.all the time
Annis, We have plenty of customers that bring their dogs in to the store. Some of them come in on a leash and some of them take a ride in the buggy.
We don't sell firearms anymore, but we do have a good selection of ammo and other shooting supplies.
Lanier's hardware has about everything. Ask , just because you don't see it doesn't mean they don't have it.
We do stock a couple of starters for Briggs & Stratton. If you bring engine model # and mower model # we can get it if not in stock.
Just changed from Tru value to Ace. Same great staff but better item availability, especially if needed items oo stock.
As of a few weeks ago, they didn't. For the most part they sell simple sweat-pants and hoodies with football logos along with a small selection of football shirts.
I haven't seen any swing sets sold here. I'd call their customer service though because they seem to be able to get anything there.
