Cozy place in reservation. You can pet calves, goats, pigs and llama. Take quarters with you to buy food for the animals. Next to an ice cream store! You must visit there for sure! There is a pond and a toilet on site. Your kids will love it!

Once we found it, hidden back from the parking lot on a walking trail, it was a great stop for ice cream, relaxing by the pond, and a really cute animal area that was almost a petting zoo! Many trails to explore and lots to see!

Wonderful ice cream, just about the best I've had, good flavor selection. Be prepared for a walking a few minutes down the trail from the parking lot because the ice cream location is not readily visible from the parking lot. But just follow the path past the red building and up the hill and you'll see it. You can sit outside at the picnic tables after you get your ice cream amidst the cows that produce the milk that made the ice cream! Also, they have cow manure compost available at the next driveway a tenth of a mile or so from the parking lot.

This is a truly tremendous place! I took a child with mobility issues there for ice cream on opening day last weekend, and the staff and the owner could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The ice cream is great too, and the animals (cows, goats, chickens, etc) make it a perfect outing for kids! Extremely highly recommended for families with children (and really for anyone who likes ice cream).

There are no grills. There are some picnic tables. I don't believe that you are allowed to have a fire.
You can tell the server if you have any allergies. I am not sure how many ice creams are nut-free
This is one of the few MA state parks where dogs are allowed offleash in designated areas - see here: https://www.mass.gov/guides/dogs-in-dcr-parks
Yes! A few friendly goats to feed, lamas, pigs, chickens, and plenty of cows.
There are no grills, but it is a great place to picnic. Also have ice cream and dairy farm.
Best to check at the pavillon office as they may change due to weather, or other events.
There's several different loops ranging in difficulty from super easy to moderate. Great for hiking, biking, or even cross country skiing in the winter. Total mileage is several miles long.
