We were at the park for a Shape-Note singing in their large pavilion. The park seemed well run and was a lovely spot to gather to sing. We walked out to the point for picturesque view of the lake. Nearby families were having fun at the pool. The washrooms were clean. Several of the singers were camping there and it sounded like they had good experiences.

Loved this place! Passing through and Stayed one night. We stayed in the cherry shelter, it rained all night but we stayed dry. Beautiful views of lake Champlain. Park staff was friendly and helpful. Very quite and private place to spend

What a terrific little state park on the edge of Lake Champlain. You can tell that the state staff and volunteers rally take pride in this place! We were here two nights during the week in July and it was only 2/2 full. There is a nice trail that leads to a very interesting point on the lake. Many of the sites have prime vies of the lake. Cabins look clean and comfortable, perched above the water

Here's their information for that 😀 https://vtstateparks.com/reservations.html
Are there leantos and would it hold two small campers on the same lot so we can be together but have a personal space. Also are dogs allowed
Yes, they have many tent sites. But I love to lean to camp myself. They seem to be more private, and you don't have to worry about the weather. Just put up a tarp over the front. Happy camping 🏕
Not at button bay....HOWEVER, within a 20 min to 40 min drive ou can.
Not this season.
Yes, and we have found the staff to be quite firm about having dogs under control at all times. Not in a "jerk" way, but in a way that's proper for a place with a lot of kids.
Yes, $2.00 a bag. A bundle of wood for $6.00. Beautiful, clean campground.
Yes it is $6 a section and can be bought during office hours.
The closest place is the town of Vergennes
No they are not. The park does not open until Memorial Weekend.
The gate is open all winter, there are no entry fees. Fishing, hiking and snowshoeing are all still open to the public. Boat access is still open. Restrooms are closed and staff is absent.
Interested in 2nd week of July "22- any cabins available/
2:00 - 3:00
No it does not. There are no hookups at any State Park in Vermont.
Most VT state parks have a 2pm check in time
I would use a stand alone tent.
