The move in process at Palms of Clearwater was super easy. The staff (and I worked with several different members) were all super helpful, inviting, and professional. As I was moved from weekend folks to week day folks, nothing was lost in the transition and the first look to move in was super fast (which is what I needed!!) The property is kept very nice and the few instances where I have needed mainteance assistance wtih something, they have been super fast, very good, and very respectful of my property. I am super happy I was able to find this community and move in. - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings

Where to begin....I am highly disappointed with our living experience at The Palms of Clearwater. The amenities are nice, the units are overpriced (but it's Tampa Bay), and the parking (or lack thereof) is an absolute JOKE! Which is the perfect segue to, I walked out to our car to pick up my prescription to discover our vehicle missing today. The Palms of Clearwater routinely sends email threats about towing vehicles parked in no parking zones and my partner and I haven't parked in front of the dumpster or any of the usual areas. We do however routinely park in the roundabout area closest to the front of the complex as there's usually ZERO parking spots available when we return from leaving the complex. In our near one year stay here at The Palms we have only been asked to move our vehicle two or three times and we do so with no issue. Today, our vehicle is missing and I am deeply saddened by the lack of communication from The Palms. I now have to wait until they open tomorrow to figure out where it was towed and how to get our vehicle back. I have NEVER had a vehicle towed or been in this situation before. I have tried to overlook the MANY failings of the front office staff here at The Palms of Clearwater and find this to be the final line for me. I am truly disappointed in how management treats tenants here, in addition to the lack of callback or front office availability. Warmth, responsiveness, respect, and kindness are SEVERE deficiencies of the front office staff here; I have come to expect very little from the front office. I am very annoyed at the moment and I'm in disbelief. Again, I'm glad we are moving. Maintenance, the amenities, and community members have been the best part of The Palms of Clearwater.

DO Not MOVE HERE. I have mold throughout my unit .I also have roaches everywhere. It was suppose to be a gated community. The gate has not been fixed since I moved in ,which has been 9 months .I came home last night and my whole back window has been busted open . I called emergency service and the guy did not speak English. This is not my only time reporting crimes. I also had things taken from my car.I was asked to please not to write a bad review. I am over paying for a small unit ,with hate crimes ,mold and roaches. I do not want anyone to experience this .They also have men come in your unit without a 24 hour notice. Do Not MOVE here .

Not what I expected. Moved from up North and looked like a nice place. Looks aren't everything. Parking is a mess, buildings are very old, windows and doors need to be replaced. Yes, two buildings were tented for termites this year. The entire stairwell had to replaced on building F, due to rotted wood and water damage. Gutters full of debris, water has no place to drain accept behind concrete and into buildings. Rotted wood, look out for mold, check your HVAC system prior to move in, our water heater (very old & rusty see photo of coils attached) was replaced and noticed two walls behind water heater covered with mold. Check fan in the bathroom, ours was filthy (see photo's attached) surprising there was never a fire. Only good thing is the location and that is about it. They need to gut the place and start with renovation asap.

It's ok, location is good. Wal-Mart, Publix, CVS right in walking distance. Some homeless at the corner of Gulf to Bay and Belcher. But that is everywhere. Parking is really bad there, buildings are very old, they need lots of updates as far as buildings go. I've heard residents complain of bugs. Two buildings were tented for termites. Stayed one leasing period and have to more, not for me. Oh rent will go up at the end of your lease term. You will also have to pay an admin. fee, trash fee, pest control fee, and 25.00 if you want a reserved parking spot. Good luck, try looking around. I've seen much better out there.
Stay away from that place...
