Great place to walk around and see gators.... No bikes allowed on trails though.

No words can express how awesome this place is. The scenery is amazing and the sunset is beautiful. But the best part is walking into the water and hooking up with a big snook trout or red fish and plenty other species too!!!
Wild Marks
Great park nice trails can get wet at times we hiked through ankle deep water at times. We did get a great hike in. Not to far from places to grab something to eat

A Great place to hike & take in the scenery. The ground trail we were on was about 1.5 miles. Do take bug spray or essential oils, because there are a lot of mosquitoes... No, we did not see any alligators, but they are there so be careful.

Short answer, no. Long answer: There aren't any boat/paddlecraft launches in the park either. But, there are County and City launches available all around the park. There are also several private vendors that rent nearby and some if them have launches that can get you into the park pretty quickly. Matlacha seems to be the most popular place to rent and explore.
No camping at Charlotte Harbor Preserve State Park. Check out Myakka River State Park and Oscar Scherer State Park.
Yes
Live shrimp
No camping at Charlotte Harbor. Admission to the park is free.
That would be the Charlotte Harbor National Estuary Program. www.CHNEP.org I haven't heard anything about the Festival.
NOT Sundown. Gates at Park HQ. 8am -5pm Monday - Friday. Gates at the Charlotte Harbor Environmental Center are different. Posted at the gates depending on volunteer availability. Parking is available outside the gates. All trailhead parking is sunrise to sunset.
And I would add +10 months as 47th terr. Took 1/3rd longer as well
No camping at this park. It is a natural preserve. Tours are available, suggest you contact their office.
I see dogs at the Alligator Creek part of the park regularly.
We do get a few Bubba's visiting the Park, but no Bubba's are currently a permanent part of this Nature Preserve. Thanks for asking!
No camping here. The closest State Parks that offer camping are Koreshan State Park, south of Fort Myers. Oscar Scherer State Park, south of Sarasota and Myakka River State Park east of Sarasota.
