Maria was very very rude when we visited we had questions about desert rose ; there were no other customers there, and she rudely said she's too busy watch the video... very snotty... Shame on her because my sister has held her knowledge with highest regard, now will never return. Maria doesn't care about customers. Take your business two blocks down to Becky's garden! She cares about her customers!!

I stumbled upon Maria's Garden and I'm in love! What an incredible place. Maria and her husband are an absolute delight. She is truly a plant Guru! I watched her work in action as she suggested caretaking tips to several customers as I watched in amazement. The plants here we're healthy and full of life. Very well priced and worth every dollar. This is a southwest Florida hidden gem.

There are not enough stars here tho give this place. First if your are looking for succulents or desert roses then this is the place for u. The selection and variety are second to none here. They are beautiful, healthy, gorgeous plants here. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. They took there time with us ensuring that we find exactly what we were looking for. They even gave my kids snail shells too take home for the garden. Go check this place out. It's marvelous garden!

I drove 126 miles to visit Maria’s Garden, and I have to say I WILL NEVER VISIT again. After purchasing three small plants for $50 I asked if I could meet Maria who was in the back of the nursery. Rebecca, who had answered all my questions and was so, so helpful walked over to Maria and she came back pretty embarrassed and said Maria was in the middle of something!!! Really? She was walking around in the back of the nursery moving plants around. After paying for my plants we had a gentleman come out to tell us Maria was busy on the phone with two “nurseries” I had to let him know that was a lie because my husband and I were watching as Rebecca was speaking to Maria. Maria was NOT on the phone. With that said, the pictures posted here of the flowering Desert Roses are mine. I purchased them from Home Depot and they were very very inexpensive. The only reason I am giving Maria a one star is because you can’t give her o BUG ZERO. Shame on you Maria.

Maria, when a desert rose becomes root bound and The Roots are trying to leave the bowl shapped pot what size pot should I go up to if the pot is 20 inches across . The plants are currently in bowl-shaped pots. Should I change to deeper than wide.

Trim the roots. When you repot Leave a few inches around its diameter. Let it rest for a few weeks then water.

I have watched several videos on how to repot desert rose. Butstill nit sure if I should cover roots on upper bulb with soil or cut off the roots?

Repot the roots and leave the big knob exposed. Does not like excessive water.

Often times the leaves will turn yellow and go away. But new ones will come it's a common and normal thing. Just make sure it's getting good sun light and proper watering :)

I have three desert roses that have been doing beautifully until last week when I noticed black spots and some yellow leaves that are dropping off. I do not know the correct fungicide I should use. I live in Land O Lakes, Fl.

From the videos I have seen from Maria Garden and my experience with my desert roses it's actually a normal thing my desert roses do the same thing once in awhile so just be patient let those leaves fall off and you green ones will grow back

I have 5 desert rose babies planted 1 year ago and they are still only 2 inches tall. What do I do?

No appointment needed to consign, if that's what you mean. Just go earlier in the day, not late afternoon, so there is time to process items.
