We have been bringing dogs to Banfield for years. Since Covid this place has changed. You cannot get your sick animal seen. You can schedule an appointment a month out for an “illness or injury”. They will simply tell you to go to the regional emergency room (which is also always full - would not see any animals for the last three days). . They are no longer really a “hospital” and should simply advertise as a well-pet visit clinic. I am sure in the five days I have tried to get my very sick dog seen by tone they have happily signed up dozens of clients for their wellness plan - most assuming it meant they would be able to receive vet services.

Dr Lauren Maxey is one of the best! Our dog has been seeing her for several years and we have no complaints. Her quality of service & care are unmatched.

Short and Sweet
We took our sick pup here on a drop off appointment. All other Banfield locations were busy till the following week. He stayed there all morning and quickly got better after his visit. Great staff, professional service and very helpful. 🐶💚💯 Update review 2021: We’ve been taking our pups here at this Banfield location for a while now. Initially it was very good (around a year and half a go) however the service has been downgrading. Just recently it took us 6+ consultations (driving back and forth) for the staff here to properly diagnose and treat our dog. We where driving 30+ minutes to go to this location because it USED to be good but will most likely be taking out business somewhere else. Staff is also very particular on appointment time, so DONT BE LATE or you will be rescheduled which leads me to my next point, this past year this location has been so backed up, making it hard to schedule any type of appointment.

No, but you can call us during hospital hours for urgent care advice. Depending on the situation, we can help provide a referral for urgent care, specialty providers, or to an emergency hospital. During non-hospital hours, please contact your local emergency hospital.
We believe that preventive care is the most effective way to keep your pet healthy throughout all stages of life. Our pet hospitals offer many preventive care treatments, including: • Vaccinations • Dental Care • Parasite Control • Nutritional Counseling • Behavioral Counseling • Comprehensive Examinations
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
