Terrible customer service. They rarely pick up the phone and you have to book appointments months in advance if you want any chance of being seen. We almost always end up going to the emergency vet because Banfield is closed or they can’t see our dogs for several weeks. Frankly, the insurance isn’t worth the price because you can never get an appointment, and they won’t help you without one. This is true even if your dog’s health and well-being will suffer. Quick update: this insurance continues to be a waste of money. My dog needed to see the vet for something urgent but a non-emergency. This Banfield was of no help again, so I called others. Approximately 60% of Banfield hospitals (I called 17) didn’t answer the phone. One hospital that did answer told me “we only treat healthy animals,” and another told me that the doctors were unable to see animals that are sick. Which is essentially the same thing, but I felt it was worth including.

Vets have been weird during the pandemic so I'm not going to fault this clinic for their mitigation procedures. That being said, Dr. Edwards is great. Always remembers things we've discussed in the past and makes sure Sheriff is getting the proper care and meds he needs.

Too expensive! Every appointment requires a ridiculous amount of check-in paper work. Plus, they total missed diagnosing my dogs eye ulcer, but charged me for a boat load of "lab" work that I question is even necessary.

Banfield Pet Hospital cares so much about your fur baby and will surely care for them like they are family! My dog had a severely split injured toe nail that occurred after hours. The next day first thing we dropped him off to be evaluated and taken care of. With no appointment I was able to drop him off and he was scheduled for surgery the same day. This boy came out a happy camper and much more like himself! Dr. Edwards and his medical team truly give each pet the care they need. If you’re looking for a Banfield location with caring and loving staff look no further!

No, but you can call us during hospital hours for urgent care advice. Depending on the situation, we can help provide a referral for urgent care, specialty providers, or to an emergency hospital. During non-hospital hours, please contact your local emergency hospital.
We believe that preventive care is the most effective way to keep your pet healthy throughout all stages of life. Our pet hospitals offer many preventive care treatments, including: • Vaccinations • Dental Care • Parasite Control • Nutritional Counseling • Behavioral Counseling • Comprehensive Examinations
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
