Located on a hill overlooking the Potomac River is a large public park with a semi-shaded, two-level playground, open grass, benches, and a sand volleyball court. There aren’t restrooms or a parking lot, but most walk to the park or park on the nearby streets.

I used to find parking there but not on weekends
No reservations. First come. There are only a couple tables but plenty of lawn space.
