Is a gorgeous place in the middle of the city. I really recommend to go if you love photography and also to ha e a nice relaxing time, very beautiful.

Always crowded with photographers and even insensitive folks with tripods on their narrow boardwalk. Dogs not allowed on the boardwalk. Everytime we have been to Huntley, we have seen something. Like a couple spoonbills last year. Eagles, kingfishers, frogs, herons. My husband is a photographer but doesn't take his tripod. He loves going there.

This place is very relaxing. It’s good to walk over the walk path watching birds and natural habitats

We saw the deer trail and a heron trail. The Heron Trail is the trail with the Boardwalk. But the other trails loop around to connect. We walked from the visitor center to the Heron trail and then took the Deer Trail. I noticed that there are at least two entrance points to the park. I can't comment if you parked at another entrance.
Why not? They have a meeting space. I would call and ask the people at the office
Yes, but need talk with park administration, and made reserve
The trail is open whenever the park is open. I'm not sure of the normal hours of operation but you can call to get that information. I hope you enjoy the park. There is plenty to see there. Be sure to take your camera and, if you have it, carry binoculars to see the abundance of wildlife that call the park home. Walk in Peace. Gerry "Spirit Bear" Gardner
Oak different pines Poplar and a few Birch
I'm not sure about the visitor center but the park itself closes when it gets dark. If you call the visitor center I'm sure you can get a quick and accurate answer.
No, that is "backside" of Huntley Meadows
The visitors center has exihbits about the ecosystem of the park that children love. The trail walk is good exercise as well. It features a board walk through the marsh and an observation deck. For a traditional playground there is a school on the same street and Lee District is close by.
