Amazing park to walk around in the evenings of summer. You can see many kinds of birds and alligators around. The reptile may you see sometimes around the park.

Nice park where you can see alligators and many several species of birds including birds of prey. Accessible for a small fee per vehicle. Pay by cc feasible through their app. Toilets at the entrance. Beware, very little shelter from the sun! Bring water and sun protection Three or four walking loops, the smallest one is above the water but that's where we saw less animals.

If you are a bird or just nature lover this is a fantastic walk. the park is not enormous yet not too small. All kinds of birds are very easy to see and spot, a few alligators of all sizes around. It really is a wonderful walk.

Cold and windy the day we went but it was a beautiful place to be anyway. We saw 6 alligators and dozens of species of birds! Interesting interpretive signs throughout the park.

We just got one. $78. Bought it in person at the Thomas Center but you can probably find more options at the web site
Not sure about a tour, but as Steve said there are maps and no need for a tour. Take your binoculars, camera and tripod and you are set. Enjoy a fantastic wild life park. What a treasure!
There is one picnic table in the woods; you can get to it by turning right on the service road once you go through the gate at the end of the path behind the bathrooms. There are benches at various points on the paths within the park, but no tables. In the past, I have picnicked on the benches under the overhang by the bathrooms.
It's Florida natural habitat for Allegators. No Crocs! Many don't know the difference. Crocodiles are not native to this region & they're dangerous without barriers!
We saw snakes almost every time we were there, but we were actively looking for them. They were usually in the water or very near the water's edge, under a bridge, etc. Stay on the path and pay attention and you should be fine.
No. This area is a protected wetlands park and a man made water filtration system. No fishing, no pets
No you can walk bike or take a motorized electric chair though the park
Gators not crocs....
Every time we've been to Sweetwater, we've seen gators, birds, and the last time, we even saw a pack of wild horses and a foal!
I'm not sure. It won't even let me suggest that as an edit on the information page. If you do find out please post an answer, that would be helpful to know
