There is one picnic table in the woods; you can get to it by turning right on the service road once you go through the gate at the end of the path behind the bathrooms. There are benches at various points on the paths within the park, but no tables. In the past, I have picnicked on the benches under the overhang by the bathrooms.
The park has added several convertible picnic tables along the paved drive that leads to the sediment basin (left of the entrance crosswalk) as well as the table at the bird feeder (right of the entrance crosswalk).
There is a pavilon but no tables
I would not picnic there and the facilities are minimal at best.
There are rest areas along the way. However we did not see tables. The park is in 3 loops and you cannot bring a car to the loops and you will have to carry your food. I would not eat on the grass as there are aunts. They say to stay on the path at all times unless in a rest area. If your picnic is a sandwich, fruit, drink it can easily be done at a rest area. If it's a blanket on the ground I would not advise it.
