We saw snakes almost every time we were there, but we were actively looking for them. They were usually in the water or very near the water's edge, under a bridge, etc. Stay on the path and pay attention and you should be fine.

Can these animals get to you attack you

Rick Tuttle | Sep 5, 2020

As a photographer I am always looking for the snakes. Have usually only seen them in the very late afternoon when they are up in the grass sunning for warmth. Venomous species are possible but to date I have never found one. I have only found NON-venomous Water Snakes.

No more snakes and most likely non-poisonous.

Didn't see any when we were there but they can be present. The paths are wide so you'd see them pretty easily if they were in your direct path.

I did not see sny snakes

Donald Greist | Sep 6, 2019

They are present and could include vipers. Just be sure to look down from time to time, and stay on the path. I actually very nearly stepped on one while I was intensely listening to music and taking in the sweeping vistas.

No more than anywhere else. Has medium traffic. I wouldn't worry about them.
