Amazing food and service. Highly recommend. You generally have to make reservations well in advance, but it is so worth it. I loved all of it and because our searing was close to 9, we were able to see the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom. Awesome experience. Disney does it the best!

Yes! THIS is the 3 course meal to spring for when you’re headed to Disney. Trust me. We had a total of three of this style of meals, and the “Magical experiences” at the others did not make up for the mediocre food. The food and service at this meal were fantastic. If you’re visiting during this summer, there are two fireworks showings at Magic Kingdom and you can catch both if you time it right! Stay indoors or head out to the observation decks…either way, It’s a really beautiful way to celebrate Disney Magic and your loved ones!

Had an amazing 50th celebration dinner! The food is exceptional, beautiful ambiance, and great service. (thanks Becky!) Their menu offers different options. My husband selected the guided wine pairing and enjoyed the experience. Everyone in our party ordered different course options. I ordered the mushroom ravioli and it was the only plate I could say was lacking a bit but still good for a plant based option. However, the sushi appetizer prior made up for it. Best sushi I’ve tasted. It was the perfect way to end our Disney trip. We will be returning customers. If you like Disney gear, I would recommend making reservations and arriving early to look around shops. They have certain items not found in parks. They also have a large waiting area to relax if shopping isn’t your thing but want to arrive early. If you book for late evening dinner, you can enjoy the view of Magic kingdom fireworks.

Amazing! First time there! I believe our waitress was Debbie….ahh forgot! She was short with glasses and loved Disney! Amazing service!! We did the Disney 50 menu and had a stunning view of the Magic Kingdom and walked to the other side after dinner and saw Epcot. The food was amazing , the drinks were great! Awesome steak & seafood! The spicy margarita we got was great and the berry drink! Very good dinner & unforgettable experience!

This is a dine in restaurant with a specific menu. Birthday cake was not on the menu and order ahead was not available.
Probably. Don't think it's BYOB
Yes you can eat there without staying there. Reservation is highly recommended. It's a great experience especially at night.
This restaurant, California Grill, is on the top floor of the Disney Contemporary Resort ( hotel)

Not sure about size, cost or if even cater to private party. Need to call for info.

They accept walk ins. Keep in mind since they are one of the busiest restaurants in Disney World, odds of getting a table by walking in are extremely unlikely. Having a reservation long before you get there is highly recommended.
Yep. You'll have to use 2 sit down restaurant credits as this is a signature restaurant. That is assuming your talking about the standard dining plan.
Yes, but in a private function area.
5:45. The fireworks will be over by 9. You also have time to change your reservation time. They open up all the time. Just check frequently. Great place. I recommend the filet mignon!
Not at all, just be sure to get in early to reserve. If you're staying at WDW you can book further in advance than regular guests.
180 days if you're staying off site, or 180 + length of your stay if staying on site.

Most of the coffee sold at Walt Disneyworld is Joffrey's.
Even if your reservation is not during the time for the fireworks, keep your receipt and you can go back to the restaurant and view the fireworks from the platform. It must be on the same day that you dined.
No. This is the California Grill on the top of Disney's Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
If you take the rail from the bus area it will take about 15 minutes with wait time and you do need to check in on 2nd floor and they will take you up there.
