While the staff i didn’t have much issues with when I first moved in I seen a small baby roach. This was within the first two weeks I was living there and I didn’t over react because it’s Florida bugs are everywhere. They also said an exterminator comes every once a month and I only seen an exterminator come once. By the time i moved there was a roach Infestation and it traveled in my old car and even to my new house. I left the apartment complex before my lease was up (14 not 12 month lease here btw) It was a complete nightmare this is all while I was Pregnant! I never experienced that in my life! I do not recommend for families.

I'm a level 7 local guide with over a million views of my photos and over 70 thousand review views...this is a review that is definitely meant for the public. A family member of mine asked me to come over and help her with her laundry because she has severe back pain. Upon going there we went to the laundry room between buildings 3 and 4 and this is what we seen (look at the pictures attached). Aside from being asked by this homeless guy for some change and food (those are his clothes on the table), the trash can was full and overflowing..look at the pictures. There's a sign out front that says new management but it seems like old management, based on the stories I have heard. I mean, this is not safety at all. How can a 70 year old woman with back pain protect herself in the dark like that? Anybody can jump out in this condition...this has to be resolved very soon. I asked her to contact a consumer attorney because of the dangers Turnbury is presenting to the tenants. I don't even want to mention the cement in the drive lanes that is all cracked and broken up due to the heavy machinery driving back and forth during construction...does that mean I have to buy new tires everytime I visit a family member? It seems management is trying to save money by leaving the lights off in laundry rooms and all over the property as well. Please look at the pictures I am posting of this place. Many tenants who live their have complained about the conditions of this place. I have been there and this is my experience. If you visit Turnbury at night, please go to the laundry room between buildings 3 and 4 and you will see firsthand just how dark that place is. When the homeless guy beg you for money and food, you will know my review was authentic. CAVEAT EMPTOR!

I've lived here since late October 2018. My experience has been poor to say the least. - 1st it's very sketchy that they have no sample apartments to show before you put a nonrefundable deposit down to hold the next available apartment. - Once moved in you will find that the staff here will lie & deceive residents around every corner. They say just what's needed to get you out of their office with little to no follow through. You have to chase them to get things fixed. - Washer and dryer rooms are not secure. The locks on the doors are never working and teens are frequently using them as "hang outs". All laundry areas have broken washers and dryers. Despite reporting them via tickets.. - Move-in ready apartments smell like raid. STRONGLY. It gave us headaches. I was told it's something in the paint.. it took 2-3 months before I stopped smelling it. It was BAD.. - The initial apartment they tried to move me into had dead roaches in the kitchen cabinets and damage all throughout the apartment. The 2nd one, I found out after moving in, had roaches in the fridge. - The apartment I ended up in had so many things wrong with it. Most importantly the shower knobs we're shocking my kids & I. It took them 4 months to get that fixed.. and MANY MANY headaches and chasing Randy, the manager, to get tjithi done right. Jobs are done by the cheapest means necessary & Randy will lie directly to you to cover up her lack of preparation/planning. She will say anything to get you out of her office truth or not.. - When I moved in my mailbox had no door and I immediately notified the office. It took me going to the office over 2 months regularly to get assigned a new mailbox. Up until then all my mail was being left in an open mailbox for anyone to access. - The fire alarm outside our apartment hasn't had a handle since we moved in. I've put in multiple tickets but nothing gets done. - Sprinklers are always broken and spraying on stairs, walkways & cars. - Contractors we're scheduled to come to our house to refinish the tub and Randy expected us to stay in the apartment just hours after being sprayed with harsh chemicals. It wasn't until the contractor said it wasn't safe & I requested a hotel that she was willing to get us out of the chemical filled apartment. (Despite me expressing my serious concerns) These are relatively quiet apartments. There's a lot of mixed class of people here. Some seem like section 8 while most stay to themselves and you never see or hear them.. If it wasn't for the staff's blatant disregard for resident safety and well-being this place would be decent.

Has gotten better. I've noticed that they have beefed up their maintenance operations lately; which is good because the place was filthy before. Its gotten better for sure; they have people picking up the litter and trash piles now. I used to not really like the staff, but they have turned themselves around and now I'd say they deserve a solid 4/5. The other residents though... Well there are some sketchy people for sure. I had a man ask me if I wanted to buy weed while my young daughter was close by! I wanted to contact the police, but I didn't want to cause needless trouble. I've heard other stories from other guests about drug dealers too, and people let their children play in the street even when there is a park on the property. People casually throw their trash everywhere, but like I said the staff is getting better at keeping it clean. All this isn't really the fault of the apartment itself, but it sullies the experience. One positive is that I sometimes find good furniture in the dumpster (don't judge me). In short, its gotten better, but they need to vet their potential residents better.

First and security
Jasmine is lazy and useless, but the manager Randi is pretty cool and easy to work with- go to McKinley.com and look for the turnbury at countryside location, scroll to the bottom of the page, past the floorplans, there'll be a link to apply online
The prices you see online are just for the apartment alone. They tack on garbage and water when rent is due so maybe an extra $50-$90. You pay cable and electric separate through Duke Energy and Spectrum.

Yes you can get a tour. They have different sizes for the bedrooms and the fee for about is usually $50 dollars, but you may go there. They are open on Sundays as well and they are under new management too. Good luck!
First, security, and admin charges.
You can have up to 2 pets, there are breed restrictions on dogs and you can't have exotic pets- there is a pet deposit per pet, I think $300 each (but I'm not positive). There is a pet rent as well, maybe $10 per animal, monthly.
