The Courtyard at Lake Lucerne

We had a wonderful stay at the Courtyard at Lake Lucerne. It felt more like a home than a hotel, or an upscale bed and breakfast. Like a world away from Orlando, but right off the Freeway, and convenient. The hotel itself is a Victorian style property, with beautiful gardens, and located right by the lake. The rooms were well appointed, again, think B&B rather than your standard run of the mill hotel, and comfortable as well as charming. The staff was so friendly, and check in/out was a cake walk. They had a breakfast in the morning as well, but unfortunately we had to get on the road, otherwise I would have absolutely stayed for that. I couldn't get enough of this place. Thanks for a wonderful stay, We'll definitely be back!

Totally beautiful, enchanting place. The garden is stunning, the people are incredibly friendly, and the food is among the best I've had at a B n B...very fresh, variety of breakfast items. It's really quite an amazing setting, particularly for being so close to downtown. Highly recommended for families or couples looking for a quiet retreat in the midst of a Disney vacation or just a southern excursion. I'm a sucker for greenery and this place is surrounded by giant old trees and lush plant life. I could spend all day in the garden relaxing.

The hotel is conveniently located in Downtown Orlando. It's a unique set of buildings constructed in the 1880s. Very nicely maintained. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. I arrived in the afternoon and was greeted by a friendly staff member. They offer a great breakfast. The breakfast area was in the back of the building. There was a gorgeous brick path lined with greenery, flowers, a fountain and benches. The breakfast had egg soufflé, bagels, cereal, fresh fruit, etc. The staff were really helpful throughout. I look forward to staying here again.

Overall we had a very pleasant stay. The rooms were huge and comfy, and it was nice they had a kitchenette included. Free self-serve cocktail hour was a plus after a long day, and they have a very pleasant courtyard and large porch for relaxing. The location was really convenient but close to the highway so there is some noise from traffic. We would stay again.
