They flat out stole money from me then told me they were going to send me a check to return it and it took over 3 months for them to do and they purposely sent it to an old address that they knew I didn’t live at any more. After driving across state to go get it, I find out they wrote me a bounced check to pay back what they owed me. When I went to their office they were rude and unprofessional. Claiming they didn’t know how to get ahold of their management company. How dumb can you really be? Then they told me that they got ahold of them and they would send another one but here we are 5 months later and still no check. The office staff is a joke.

The drake is a fine apartment building as a first time apartment but the “renovations” they did didn’t really scream renovation to me. The took out the doors to one of the cabinets and put an over head microwave in that doesn’t really fit in the cabinet and when they repainted it to match they didn’t paint all of the cabinets the same color. The washer and dryer unit the installed inside of the closet is too big so it’s facing a weird direction for me to put the clothes in. It’s almost like I’m doing acrobatics just to do my laundry. The apartment is also very humid for no reason. I’ve enjoyed my stay for the most part, no major problems but it’s the little things that pile up that make it unpleasant.

Renters Beware! I have talked to numerous places inquiring about a lease in the last couple months. All great positive experiences. I couldn’t even get an appointment with this place to see a unit and it was one of the worst customer service experiences that I’ve had in a long time.I spent over a week of calling and texting this place trying to get in to view a 1st floor unit. By the time I could get a human on the phone because the person texting refused to help me set up an appointment, all first floor units are gone except one that the rent increased about $200 since it first posted and it’s tiny (square footage). In the last 24 hours this place has increased their rent 2 times! Legal, yes…moral…NO. I don’t understand how they leased anything when I couldn’t even get an appointment. Apparently either they are severely under staffed or just don’t care. I might have dodged a HUGE bullet because the treatment received before you are a paying client was inexcusable so I can only imagine how bad it would have been if I actually made the mistake of leasing from them. Whew! On to the next one.

Just a very sad operation. They did a renovation a couple months back and this is what they left as “finished” in our apartment. We have tried multiple times to get someone to come paint over it but they don’t budge. It’s just a dirty complex. Can’t expect them to be in the office during business hours, they never have someone that answers the phone you always have to leave a message. It cheap & you definitely get what you paid for.
