On December 29 I was driving North on I75 at 70 MPH. Heard a loud thunk, car started making a weird noise and fishtailing all over the place. I pulled off to the shoulder and called 911. They hooked me up with the Fl Highway Dept. A very nice young man showed up, took off my flat tire & put on my spare. I believe his name was Adams and he couldn’t have been nicer! KUDOS to him. I just got my car back from the body shop today! Jeanette Bergman

Was tailgates by the officer to move, then Pulled over for speeding, and accepted my wrong doing,, but Officers are Extremely aggressive, when situations are not required to be. I am a firm believer in giving respect to the men and women in uniform, but this particular officer was very aggressive and hostile. This unit needs a reform. Fire officer 2942

Make sure your troopers know that it is not ok to ride someone's rear and flash them with their headlights/high beams so they can get out of the way. Especially when they are cruising at speed limit. This was on the news years agi but is still happening today. Especially those troopers along i75 south of exit 134. A badge and a Dodge Charger doesnt give you the right to drive like a fool and act like an entitled fool!

So I got my first speeding ticket in 20+ years yesterday courtesy of the Florida State Troopers. I am not complaining, nor ranting, as I made the decision knowing full well the consequences if I got caught. (Although I think using airplanes is cheating on their part smile emoticon:) ) I think we should all start taking accountability for the decisions we make, especially people who post about getting caught speeding... come on, you were speeding you got caught - pull up your big boy / girl panties and move on. What I am doing is shouting out to Trooper D.C. Vasquez with the Florida State Troopers- he was polite and respectful and smiled a genuine smile when he handed me my ticket reminding me to drive safe. Thank you! PS.. who knew a Mustang could go that fast?
