It’s hard to find a good vet in a new town, I got lucky with this one on my first try! Dr Skov has been amazing and kind with his care for my pups. He is knowledgeable and takes a genuine interest in his care for animals. The staff is also very compassionate and caring.

All my life we used to go to Banfield. We were happy with them in CA but not her in FL. It seemed they were all about money and my dogs used to spend hours there just waiting since they only did drop-offs. Then I switched to San Carlos Animal Hospital. What a difference. You are in and out there and I never felt rushed and they always answer my questions. So glad I switched!

I have had consistently excellent service with Dr. Steely, Logan, and Dee Dee! Dr. Steely problem solves until the pet’s health issue is fully resolved. He takes a rational, least invasive approach first, which I appreciate to prevent stress on my animal & pursestrings. They have treated my pet with love, concern, and focused, affordable treatment. I even left him overnight, and he came out in a good mood with a plan of action I can apply at home to ensure he feels better. I love San Carlos Animal Hospital!

I’ve been taking my dogs to Dr Skov for the past 20 years. Not only is he a great vet, but he has a very soothing way about him , a great quality to have when you are dealing with people like myself, who tends to panic whenever I sense something wrong with my dog…. He always calls right away when we are awaiting test results, and the techs are also great about following up the next day when we have to take a new medication. Whenever I go there, I feel like I am with family. They are a wonderful group of people!
