Great staff… I just got my second baby from Lee County Domestic Animal Service and I’m so happy with everything overall. No complains, instead, lost of thanks for taking care of so many pets in need of a loving home.

If you have room in your heart for a rescue this is the place. Clean and friendly they do a great job and everyone was smiles and polite.

I just want to give a shout out to Sara Clem - EVERY time I go in there you are always working with the dogs and making sure they get off the “death row” list! You make sure to show them the attention, care and love they need and deserve. Because of you I have adopted my first dog - and became a foster to your shelter! You truly show the most purest form of love to these animals who are hurt, scared and alone! To me every dog can be redeemed and taught with proper dedication, patience and training. You work so close and well with me as I foster the fur babies.

After losing our girl after 17 yrs. Didn’t think we’d ever get another kitty. The we saw Simba aka burrito to the shelter and Nala. Aka Libby. They definitely picked us. And stole our hearts completely. It’s been a slow and steady transition. As we have 2 dogs. But, I think they are getting comfy in their new forever home. Thank you Lee animal services for all you do with these beautiful fur babies.

The vet will give you proof of the vaccination. Send a copy of that with a check to LC Animal Services on Banner Drive in Fort Myers and they will mail you the tag.
Call LCDAS
Call the police. No one can threaten another person. They will at least remove the animal and give you the option to file an order of protection
Call human society
Within your property lines yes, you can spread rat poison. Outside your property lines you're not allowed since it might poison other species of animals that might roam around the area. Around these areas we have a lot of protected species and the Department of Wildlife protection is pretty strict when it comes to poison. You can contact animal services if you have a pest issue around your house and they might take care of it very quickly.
No. Humane society does

Hi, I believe that if you bring proof of vaccines you won't have to bring your dog. But check out the Website, it has all the information you need.

They have many dogs available all the time. It is a matter of when you go if you are looking for a specific breed. You can give them a call and talk to the staff.
