This has to be one of the nicest Marriotts I have been to across the country! The staff was fun and I love the setup and furniture of each room! The hotel restaurant really well done and has plenty of different places to sit with a really classy bar design.

Avoid please. I stayed at this Marriott on a business trip for 6 nights last April. The room was paid for by the employer but Marriott found a way to charge the whole stay on my credit card that was supposed to be used for incidentals only. Several calls were made and even in person communication were made but they can’t seem to be able to fix the problem. Totally unprofessional.

My husband and I stayed here from Friday to Sunday because we enjoyed being close to everything on past stays. They aren’t operating full service currently which made this stay not great. Husband paid more for the concierge service and there was no food, just waters, coffee and sodas. Housekeeping only came when you checked out and the buffet breakfast in the restaurant next door was awful. We won’t be going back for awhile.

Booked this place on a whim for a last minute event, and we couldn't have been happier. This hotel is literally within walking distance of everything we had planned or wanted to do, a 7 minute walk to the Third Ward, similar distance to the lake, and an even shorter walk to the riverwalk! The bar located inside the hotel is also wonderful, our room was clean and if we needed anything at all the staff was more than pleasant to work with to get whatever we needed. We plan on coming back and staying here many more times in the future
