A much needed stop after that drive over the passes. Very convenient. Lot's of snacks and a few souvenirs.

To stop and rest? Not many places to park. Facilities have no hot water, and in the men's room only one hand dryer worked and that not well. This place will do in a pinch, but set your expectations low.

I see that there are a bunch of signs for 30 minute parking. Is there a place to park for a couple of hours to rest

Yes, there are lots of spots to park and stay overnight, along with several hotels. Its well worth the stay.
