The admin staff in the emergency are very rude! A hospital shouldn't be a place where someone treats you with disrespect as soon as you walk in the door. My husband and I are very polite people. We came in because he was sick. Next time do better. Or find another job because maybe a emergency room isn't for you.

the only nice people who were there was security and the nurses/doctors in the back. waited for 5+ hours to be seen with severe stomach pain and almost passing out multiple times, when my mother advocated for me and asked about how much longer it would take, the nurse in the front started having an attitude and said that she “didn’t feel comfortable with the conversation”. saw someone with a wound in their leg, could BARELY walk, be forced to wait since around 12pm even when he arrived in an ambulance. the security guards and back of house staff were super kind-especially the lab techs. the wheelchairs are also the most uncomfortable thing that has been made- my back is STILL sore from those torture devices. why punish people who are already in pain? safe to say every single time i come here i expect it to take the entire day or over a day. the lab workers, nurses, and doctors in the back were super kind. took less than an hour from when i was taken back to being discharged + given prescriptions. i’m still giving a 1 star for the attitude of the people in the front. there’s 0 excuse about how i was treated by those nurses, they didn’t have a sliver of human decency. this is the worst ER experience i’ve had.

Your loved one is at risk when you send them to this hospital. Please avoid Sutter Tracy like the plague. On 2/19/22. I went to visit my father who is in critical care and the monitor said his heart rate was 143. The nurses were all sitting around laughing not doing anything. Even the internist Doctor Uday Nadgir did nothing and tried to act preoccupied when I asked him to give my father something to get his heart rate down. They got annoyed and started telling me I couldn’t visit anymore. I told them I was concerned for my father’s safety and wasn’t leaving until I got someone to help him. At which point they called the police on me and had me leave. Please don’t go here if you can help it.

My review is based on the treatment I received from the nurses in the ER. Nurses carried an arrogant attitude, one talked poorly about her experience with previous patients. Nursing school teaches to be respectful and not talk bad about patients (especially in front of them) as this damages patient trust and of course the reputation of the medical facility. However 2/3 nurses I had during my time here lacked warmth, sympathy, manners. If this is what nursing school is producing, then their system is broken. Shame on Sutter for tolerating this conduct.

Pat, I don't know if this helps you but I was admitted after taking myself to Sutter Tracy E.R. (for illness not injury) Feb. 2014 & was hospitalized for @ 14 days. I was treated like a Queen!
