For racing - all good. Very bad food service. Today I asked for fries to feed my child before the party started and never got it for 25 min, reminding 3 times. On April 23d I had my other son’s birthday at this location. The package included a room, however at the time of celebration I was suggested to sit at the open bar. I refused, then they cleaned the room. Nothing was set. I have to spend half of the time grabbing drinks, checking the food. It should all have been set as everything was ordered in a long advance. The lady serving the party, it was the lady with short hair, told how busy she was. However, the place didn’t look understaffed. Please, check your food service, then the experience will be much more pleasant. Again, absolutely no issues to the registration process and racing.

This place looks fun, but I've never been able to ride. When my son and I arrived at 2pm on a recent Saturday they informed us there was a 5 hour wait - and no advance booking. We didn't stay. When I emailed their sales department about a birthday party (for 24 kids), they didn't reply until I emailed them again 10 days later. (Don't waste your time parties cost $70-100 PER KID+++ Looks fun but their service is rubbish.

We had a blast here! It was nice to have snacks available to buy while waiting, a little slow but possibly due to staffing, they were polite though. It was hard to hear once our helmets were on, so when they would tell us things it was hard to make out if at all. Need to figure a sign for response or something, might miss important into. We had lost some things during the race, staff was helpful in trying to find our things and letting us know. Hard to actually talk to someone in person at the location, seems like you have to go through a call center first, even during business hours. Overall a great experience!

So fun, great for a team event where you race against colleagues. Although reserving was challenging, we booked online on Monday no response as the person in charge of corporate events was out. We had to try calling multiple times until we got hold of her on Tuesday.

Employee here, we turn up speeds based on skill level and consistent times and also showing you know how to follow the flags, all based on observation of the marshalls and flaggers.
First visit which included $8 annual membership costs about $22 for 1 Race of 14 laps. Following visits upto an year are about $15.
If you look at the FAQ, there is no age restriction. but there are height restrictions. Juniors/kids minimum height is 48" & 58" for teens/adults (which are faster) https://www.k1speed.com/faqs.html
The last time I went if there were staff who spoke Spanish ...
20 dollars per person.
They do; you can get chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, cookies n creme, or strawberry mango
No. Even those with licenses often drive terribly.
All carts are single seat.
Depending on K1 location, most will reach 45-50mph. Some locations are set at higher speed, but that's pending the location and driver clientele.
They have pretty good karts
Yes...they have the smaller cars. My daughter went there for her 11th bday last year
Yes, as long as they can listen to and follow directions. They might even drive better than some folks with drivers licenses.
Hi Tom, Good question. No, I don't believe they will allow RC cars on their track. It's not designed for them. I'm sure there are other places designed specifically for RC cars, but this isn't one. Have fun.
No but there are minimum heights to drive the karts. I believe 4'10" for the adult karts and 4' for the kids.
Hi Amadeo, That's a great question. Unfortunately not; all the karts have only one seat. I'd recommend calling to see what kind of accommodations they may have, if any. Have a great day!
just have heard rumors..... hopefully soon as Santa Clara K1 could definitely use the upgrade.
$20+ the one time membership card fee which I think is $8(?) + you will need a (reusable) headsock $2(?) They do have deals so check the website. Also, once you buy any more than one race you don't have to use them all in one visit. Hope this helps.
It would be a great experience for a young boy.
If u register or member of K1speed they give good offers & discount on email. Otherwise Go to near place k1speed and sign up
I'm 30 and got a lot of fun hehe
All carts are single seat but they have junior karts for smaller people/kids which are also not quite as fast. Just have to be 48ins to drive, no age requirement
I don’t believe you can purchase races online but once you have purchased races (in person) they will stay attached to your membership card with no expiration date
Yes.
You can walk in. Kids races typically go by quicker
