I went with a materials only option due to budget and felt I was skilled enough to perform the install on my own. If you go with materials only I would highly recommend making sure you measure all jambs and if possible try and get the rough framing to be consistent or standard sizes. If not, you will need to do a-lot of custom cutting which could damage your material. If you are using a contractor, they will be responsible for the quality of the install, not the company. If you have adequate budget, I would suggest having the Interior Door company perform the install so they can come out take measurements and guarantee the work.

Had quite an interesting experience with them. I needed a new closet door so was doing research in the local area. I visited their showroom twice, about a week apart, and asked for the same door. The first time they gave me a verbal quote of $1700, and the second time $1400. It was weird that they offered a different price but I was happy that they offered lower. So I made an appointment to have one of their guys come in and professionally measure the opening. They actually had their director, Kristine, come in, measured (I was 1/4' off on width), and gave a final price of $1900. I was surprised how much the price varied, given that I asked for the exact same door with only a little measurement difference. I asked for a breakdown of the price and they refused to do that, and said that the receptionist in store must have done the math wrong (two times really?). I asked if I could get a discount, and they said they would get back to me. Well they didn't. Until I had to reach out to them, multiple times. After all they said they couldn't do anything about the pricing, because it's difficult to get the door to fourth floor (we have an elevator)... I usually don't write long comments but I'm just shocked that they don't seem to value their customers at all, at least for my case. I obviously don't want them to do my project now, and I genuinely hope they improve their service and attitude to customers.

These guys charge $350 bucks to install a bedroom door.. these guys are robbing the public. Contractors charge $125. Go figure

Great experience. Installed doors in 2016 and was very happy with the service

We do not offer a cut-and-match service. That is something that can be done at many lumber yards. Rather, we use a digital measuring device to cut doors to match the actual door frame, instead of the old door. Our computerized measuring process captures the location of the hinges and lockset, and our CNC milling machine knows where to cut those locations in the new door. Using our method the new door often fits better than the old door (especially if the old door was a poor fit in the first place).
Yes, we use a computer measuring device to digitally store all of the dimensions of the door including size, hinge and handle locations, etc. These measurements are used by our CNC milling machine to robotically cut the new door to fit the specific dimensions of the existing door frame.
