I reached out to Sylvan when both my kids were struggling with middle school and high school match. Tutors at Sylvan helped my son turn a D grade into an A in a few weeks. Both kids attest to understanding the concepts a lot more with tutelage from Sylvan. It’s definitely been worth it for my family. That being said, each site is different. I can only speak to the Walnut Creek location. Karen is great!

I signed my daughter up for Sylvan not knowing what to expect. I was hopeful that it would provide her with a skillset to use for the rest of her life. To my surprise and excitement, it did just that and so much more!!! I am very pleased with their professionalism, excellent tutors, and the outcome I have seen with my daughter. Since I have been tutoring at this site, I have seen great progress in students at the Walnut Creek Sylvan Learning Center. We see many students throughout the week, but it is easy to know and appreciate each one of these unique individuals. It is inspiring and rewarding to witness the tremendous growth that the Sylvan Program develops for its students.Their happy faces and smiles say it all...learning can be fun! Sylvan has been AMAZING for our daughter. She was falling behind in school, specifically reading and fought us whenever we tried to assist with her homework. Sylvan assessed her and was able to identify what pieces of the puzzle she needed so that we could get her confidence up and back up to her grade level. The staff is professional, caring and the joy that they have when working the kids is so much fun to watch. My kid LOVES coming to Sylvan and learning. A complete 180!
