I was involved in an accident with one of progressives customers, that caused the accident. The driver seemed like a nice guy , he just made a mistake. Progressive played every dirty trick in the book. I've been paying into insurance for over 30 years and now I sure could use it. With lasting injuries, totaled vehicle, I only received a very small settlement, the whole experience was very stressful . They even lied and said I was partially responsible for the accident, when it was clearly not the case. Think about yourself and others in your community before you go with this company. Also ask around for folks experience with Progressive, I found it's not just me. I had to update this post after hearing an ad on Sirius XM from progressive painting a picture that progressive is good insurance and to ignore the bad reviews, no joke!

Have been dealing with progressive claim agent Erin and so far a horrible experience for me and my family. Not once have they showed any compassion or even asked how we are doing or sorry this happened..don't even fill as if I'm welcomed as a policyholder..iam already out the door as fast as I can to another company..my advice don't waste your money here avoid this place like H1N1. Horrible service/representatives seem like they just want to run you in circles asking you all kinds of personal questions to avoid taking care of their policyholders
