Had so much fun with the kids here. Definitely should’ve purchased gloves. The climbs were a workout, we were dripping sweat. Would definitely go back and recommend to all.

Fun, challenging place for every age category. Even those who don’t climb can enjoy themselves by walking trails or taking pictures of their loved ones. Very friendly, helpful staff, easy and clear instructions. What a great way to enjoy nature, exercise and make friends! Thank you!

The Adventure Park is a real hidden gem of the DC area. I always suggest it to out of town visitors who want a break from museums and the National Mall. Kids love it, adults love it and it really caters to a wide range of skills and abilities. You won't regret it.

I had so much fun. This park was well organized and efficient. After signing in, you attend a safety briefing. You watch a film that shows you how to put on your gear and move through the different courses. After putting on your gear …

Absolutely. I am 17 going on 18 and have been there multiple times. The different course levels provide a challenge for all ability levels.
60 something but if you go online and purchase tickets it's like you buy one but you get to come back again for free
Depends on the maturity level of the child. How willing is he/she to follow directions and remain calm? I would recommend hiring a guide to accompany your party through the courses if you've never been. We did for our 10, 11, and 12 year old boys and that resulted in a wonderful time for all. The guide was able to calm the apprehensions of the youngest, channel the daredevil propensities of the oldest, and build the skills and self esteem if the middle child. Win. Win. Win.
There are lockers for rent, best bet is to keep your stuff in your car

With anxiety she should do the simplest trails. Even the purple and green trails have some challenges. Almost all of the trails have swinging rope bridges and are above the ground. I went with young kids, but they are adventurous. Maybe you could ask for a tour with her on a day before deciding to sign up or watch online videos. You will have to use your best judgment since you know your child better than others.
Tim's got it right! We couldn't have said it better ourselves.
Our ticket prices vary based on age. Ages 12+ are $56 plus tax, ages 7-11 are $47 plus tax, and 5 & 6 year olds are $12 plus tax. We have a variety of other pricing options as well for special events, midweek climbs, and last call. Visit our website to find all of our adventure options! https://sandyspringadventurepark.org/adventure-park-prices-hours/
Our ziplines range in length depending on which course you're on. They range from about 50 feet long to 220 feet long!
We have campsites available to scout & youth groups, but no cabins.
She'll need to buy a Junior ticket. We do collect people's ages when you fill out the waiver! I hope that helps!
If you're participating in the course, you moving through trees solving physical challenges about 20-30 feet off the ground. Your dog will be unable to accomplish these challenges.
Hi Richard, our price vary depending on age. Children (Ages 5-6) are $12 each and they must climb with an adult. Juniors (Ages 7-11) are $47 per person. Adults (Ages 12+) are $56 per person. All tickets are subject to a 7% Maryland Amusement tax as well.
I'm not sure you may have to call them and get the answer
You can. You can also reserve camping area. I don't recall seeing grills however.
You likely won't want to bring a water bottle with you while climbing because you've got a lot attached to you and your hands will be very busy. There are picnic tables for BYO food & drink or you can leave your water bottle in your car. I don't prefer the single-use cups they use for water. It's convenient but wasteful.
Definitely plenty to do. You choose your own level of comfort lind of like at a ski resort. The different panths are labeled based on difficulty. So as far as length, you probably couldnt do every single section in a day so theres always more to check out next time. The several times ive gone there have been a good amount of people but it didnt feel crowded. Their belay system also allows faster folks to go around slower ones.
You buy timed entry tickets on their website. It's SO DAMN FUN!!!
Definitely fun for the whole family and plenty of levels for all abilities.
You can go without actually having to pay if you do not climb. Only the climbers have to pay.
