Beautiful ❤️ Place. Indian Architecture on Full Display. Every time we visit, there is a new addition. All the Volunteers do an amazing Job. If you get a chance to tour the temple with one of the volunteer guides, it's amazing, wealth of knowledge. Will keep on visiting again n again. Not to miss the Haveli that was just open and the Cafeteria.

Beautiful place, the volunteers were helpful and kind enough to explain the details of this construction and how the white marble carvings reached US. You can easily spend 2-3hrs. Jaw dropping stone carvings, stunning details, peaceful locations are worth mentioning. Snacks and cafeteria food made fresh and tasty. Make a visit, snap some great pictures and experience the beauty ♥️

Nice architecture but forever seems to be under construction. Visited this temple in 2018 and again yesterday. Still under construction and so much. The inside of the temple is good but they had specific timings for Darshan. The temple was open but couldn't see the deities. They should've updated the timings on Google maps to avoid this issue

There is a small space for pictures in the entrance and you can take pictures of the outer structure but you are not allowed to take photos inside the temple.
There is volunteer form available in temple you have to fill that.

Went there at about 6.45 pm, the guard said it is open only between 4pm-6pm.

Yes. But you can view the God statue inside with a closed gate. You are allowed inside the main gate and audio tour will also be provided as like the normal timings. It's one my mother's favorite temple in NJ/US

You can take NJ Transit north east coridor to Princeton Junction train station. Take uber from there to Temple. This route may be cheaper and faster.
Its open till 8pm on weekends and holidays. Self-service hot food is available for purchase on weekends and holidays other days prepacked snacks and refrigerated items are available.
There's no public transportation from journal square to this temple.. Either you've to rent a car or hire a taxi.

There is no entry fee, its free.
Yoy should talk to the person at the reception and explain your need. Sometimes the Temple may carry some shoe covers to help people with special needs.
The temple is open to visit all through the day but the darshan of the vigrahas are open between 9 to 12 noon and 3 to 7PM. The volunteers, cloak room, sanctum and a shop inside are open through the day.

The temple is called Akshardham. Which is divided in 5 different zones. 1) akshardham main temple 2) hari mandir (smaller temple) 3) youth activity center 4) sant nivas and accommodation 5) Main supervisory office of BAPS in USA. Zone 2 (hari mandir) has been finished but other zones are under construction.
You would find sadhus and pandits there in temple. You may want to call and find out. But do visit the temple.

Trenton is the nearest Airport (20miles) from there you can do uber/lift or rent a car. Unfortunately no good public transportation option. Another airport is Newark.
Mandir has been opened since Aug 2014. The main monument is in process. Will be done by 2020. However Mandir is so beautiful. Please visit.
No accommodation inside the temple. But many motels around that area.
Inside temple only you get good fresh food. We had Chllipaneer, Paneer Tilka masala with nan, samosa, cholla puri, mango lassi also many snack options.
