As far as their plants and decorations go this place is awesome. The customer service end not so much. My boyfriend and I were there for around half an hour walking around (we’re not super into gardening so we could have used some help) It was a weekday morning so there were only a handful of people in the store. We must have walked past a man and a woman at the counter 4 times and neither of them bothered to say hello or ask if we needed help. It’s a shame because the place really is nice but the lack of just basic common courtesy is enough to make us go to the two other farm markets down Rt 130 that are within a mile of this place.

Google said this place closes at 6pm so we decided to go there at 5, not knowing thats when they close. I tried looking for the entrance to the store since it was my first time and saw a car pull out. I had to wait for the traffic to clear on the road before going in the entrance because there was a car pulled over on side and was blocking my car. This took me quite a bit but I managed to enter. An older man comes out when I reach the store and does not look happy at all. Turns out, the store was closed and after I “saw” the ropes blocking entrance, I came in through the exit. He said something along the lines of “you pulled over, saw the ropes blocking the entrance, came in through the exit knowing it was closed. What do you think the ropes are for? Its to block the entrance”. I apologized and was just trying to tell him that we thought they were open and did not see the rope. Before I could even explain, he cuts me off, walks away and yells “we are closed. Our business hour is from 8-5pm”. He honestly could have just told me that they were closed but decided to condone me for something that I didn’t even know I was doing. Cool. Kind of funny that he told me the business hour thinking I’ll come back after this rude encounter.
