The fan on the outside AC compressor unit stopped spinning on a Saturday evening, also the hottest day of the year. I called for service on Sunday and Billy the HVAC tech arrived within 2 hours. He checked the capacitor first (usually the problem) but it measured within factory specs. He quickly diagnosed the problem which turned out to be the fan motor. The fan blade was very hard to turn suggesting the bearings in the motor were worn. He managed to temporarily fix the motor by spraying penetrating oil into the motor shaft. But since the outside compressor unit does not have an over pressure safety switch, there was danger of permanent damage to the compressor motor had the fan motor failed to come on again and the unit remained powered for an extended period of time. He ordered a fan and it was installed on Monday morning. The capacitor was also replaced. He checked the rest of the system for proper cooling. I couldn't be more with the service provided by Billy.

My 22 year old water heater needed to be replaced. Tindall and Ranson sent the best service man I have ever delt with. Anthony was so polite and very experienced. He explained exactly what he was going to do and made sure I understood all that I needed to know. He is such a good teacher! He came on time and completed the job right on the scheduled time. He cleaned up all around the work area. If all Tindall and Ranson 's employees are as qualified and pleasant as Anthony, they will always be in business! Any new system installed by Tindall & Ranson has 1-year warranty for labor and material and the balance of whatever the manufacturer warranty is. Two services provided within the first year at the second service we will ask for a renew of the CareFree agreement.

Yes for customers that are not Carefree there is a charge of $225 and for Carefree it is $105.00 for the diagnostic.
$105.00 during normal working hours with will be rolled into the repair if completed on the same day.
Carefree customers get serviced within 24 hrs., new customers can take a bit longer depending on the level of the emergency. We prefer to have Carefree customers so preventive service can be done prior to the season.
YES – clean energy up to $10,000.00 interest free and manufacturers offer programs depending on the time of year (normally 3yrs interest free)
