Moved in a month ago and what a nightmare. We were not advised that we were paying more for a newly renovated apartment that wasn’t even finished being renovated when we moved in. AC did not work the first 2 weeks, apartment was not clean - I’m still stepping on nails and thumbtacks to this day. I’ve tried calling, emailing and leaving messages and it’s so hard to get a response. Last person I was able to speak to said they would call back the next day - that was a week ago. I work in Denton until 5, so I’m unable to make it back before the leasing office closes. Very frustrating because my roommate and I were so excited to move in.

Think before signing Lease. It doesn’t worth 1 rating also. Management is incredibly Insane never respond to any residents properly. Garbage won’t pick by Trash Management Company but we have to pay for Valet Trash. If we ask simply say we will let them know but same old story. Gym won’t work at all.Since I moved in saying we order new equipment and bluffing same to new move in residents Cockroaches all over the apartment complex. Old Apartments with lot of issues. At last go to any other apartment except Avalon at Chase Oaks.

This apartment has incredible beautiful view if your unit face golf course. BUT their new management is a nightmare. Water is SHUT OFF for the entire apartment property not just one building (both hot and cold) every other day! We went more than 30 consecutive hours without hot water this week alone. Manager doesn't even bother respond to email. No compensation for anything. Horrible! Update 1: After the office responded my review, I called office and no one answered (as usual). Still no one contact me in email or phone so far. Update 2: the office finally called me. Unfortunately, the water shut off is required by the city of Plano. Therefore the leasing office can't help with that and is unable to provide any compensation. The water shut off happened from April 2022-May 2022. Now the water is fine. They are doing a lot of renovations/painting now. I hope this apartment will get better.

The management and maintenance at this property is ridiculous. We have gone without hot water for three months. Management and maintenance keep lying to us telling us it’s because the city of Plano is doing work on the street, yet there’s no city of Plano workers or vehicles around. We now have a family of raccoons living in our roof and reported last Friday. We were told they would set traps and nothing has been done, now the raccoons have eaten through the neighbor’s ceiling and are looking through the hole. Management was informed of this and did nothing
