Initially we were very happy with the process and the results. The problem we are having now a little less than a year since the project was done the faucet in the tub is leaking. I’m guessing the diverter needs a new cartridge or at the least washers. When we call the person on the phone is very polite asks questions then says there’s no one there that can help and takes a name and number. I really don’t think the faucet should be leaking when it is less than a year old. Still waiting for a call back… Update someone got back to me he was very helpful and is making sure the issue is resolved. Since I’m somewhat handy he will show me exactly how to handle the issue myself if it should happen in the future.

Called Bath Fitter in July in regards to several cracks appearing on the corners of the walls. We were told they would get back to us. We even sent pictures. Weeks went by no communication from Bath Fitter. There was several calls over the last couple of months. Still no repair. Their latest excuse was due to Covid they have not received the new walls. Has Bath Fitter shutdown due to Covid or is it bad service? I will let you decide. I will continue until we get our shower repaired. We do have a lifetime warranty.

The work they do is decent, I am overall happy with the product. We did have some issues after the fact and felt we got the run around in regard to getting a call back. The first issue is that our installer forgot to seal the top portion of our installation. I had to call no less than 3 times, each time being told I would get a call back from the owner Dan, and never did. Finally, after continued calls - i got a call back from the installer, who came out and finished doing the seal around the shower. One other minor issue is that they also removed a couple of tiles in my bathroom area for the installation and then refused to put them back up because "They don't do tile", as I was told. I was left with that responsibility. Not a huge deal, but after paying $4k, this was a bit ridiculous. My second issue (Still Ongoing), now a couple weeks after the job, is that the back plate to the tub faucet (the thing that shows hot/cold) is not connected to the wall it seems, as if I hold the handle i can freely move it back and forth to the left and right, sliding against the wall. I called Bath Fitter RI on Monday, 7/8, and spoke to Patty (who is very nice). However, I was once again told that I would get a call back from Dan - 3 days later and I am STILL waiting for a call. Bottom line - the finished product is decent, but they are awful w/ communications - even when there is an installation issue they are responsible for. If you say you are going to call back, then call back - don't just clam up because you want to move on to new paying customers; Make the time!

The installment of the tub and walls were well done and look very nice, no complaints. The process of getting in touch with someone from start process to when getting the service done was great. The reason for the three stars was that our curved curtain rod was installed incorrectly. Since our bathroom was done on the 15th of March, my boyfriend, Corey has been trying to get in contact with someone to let them know what the issue is to try to get it resolved and has yet to get a phone call back and has been getting the run around. He called Monday and was told someone would call him back, he called Tuesday and was told the person wasn't there to speak with him, he then called again Wednesday and never got a call back and now has called again about 3 times to FINALLY have someone let him know that someone would be by the house to look at the rod at 4:30pm today. The work that they do is nice, but the customer service itself just doesn't seem the greatest so if you need to be patient in case anything goes wrong with your services. So hopefully after today things get resolved! 3/27 Just an update - Pete the one who did the installation did come by and looked at our rod. He ordered us a new one and is supposed to come by to install it and hope this resolves the issue. However, let me just say whoever Dan is in the Warren office is extremely rude over the phone. He called to have Pete come by and install the new rod, under the assumption that neither I or my boyfriend have full time jobs, and we were told that someone coming over around 4, 4:30 wouldn't be possible but Pete came by last week at 4pm last week when he ordered our new rod. If you can't have a polite and decent conversation over the phone with a customer then you shouldn't be answering calls. The only reason I have this at 3 stars is because the work Pete did was well done minus the one mistake. Other than that, this customer service is horrible.

Questions & Answers

I have been waiting 5 months for my install. The number I was given is a girl who refuses to call me back. I finally called the man who came out to measure. They have had my 2500.00 of my money for 5 months. Absolutely no communication

We apologized to Ms, Miller for the miscommunication. The installation was originally scheduled for 9/10/21 when we experienced an unexpected plumbing problem that required a new installation date. We agreed on an installation date. Ms. Miller has been more than patient as we have experienced some delays.

What to use when cleaning tub and shower surround.
