Went here for dinner and a Saturday. Bingo! Blount clam shack came through as a great spot for good seafood, ocean air, live music and relaxation. This casual ocean front eatery had outdoor deck seating and 2 food trucks. Don't worry about the 30 minute wait to place your order, just soak up the sun, listen to live music and inhale the ocean air. Well worth the wait! Then let's get to the food part! The lobster roll is to die for. Choose butter or mayo for your roll. I got the biggest lobster roll I had ever seen. 1/2 lb of meat on a big bun and there is smaller 1/4 lb size available. I got the clear chowder (a RI favorite) with chorizo, corn etc. And the RI style clam cakes- the absolute best! You could get beverages too ( not sure if alcohol was sold). Ice cream was also available. Seemed like people could dock their boats and disembark for a bite at the shack. Great place and atmosphere for the entire family. The wait time for the meal after placing order seemed average. The service was ok. The food was delicious and worth the price. I spent $50 with tip for my meal which included large lobster roll and appetizers. I had enough lobster left for a salad topping the next day. I would definitely go back. They are green too! Biodegradable to go containers.

Such a great spot that I can’t wait to come back again sometime soon - the giant lobster roll can definitely fill 2 people up. Add an extra side and some beers and it’s perfect. It does get crowded depending on when you go so just take that into account. They have a bunch of options so you can’t really go wrong here.

Loved the venue. Right in the water front service in the express was fast. Has clam cakes and the were not over fried. Nice and crispy golden brown huge clam chunks in them. Great seating and plenty of room for large parties. Great selection of seafood dishes. Definitely a stop if you want seafood.

There are two clam shacks accross the street from each other. The one on the water has a huge outdoor space. The other is indoor and has a store. The lobster meat is shredded, with a few chunks. I thought Red's in Maine had tastier lobster rolls. Lobster rolls come in different sizes. The large one, quarter pounder, 35 bucks. Two lobster rolls, soft drinks, and tax 100 dollars. No bathrooms. They may be here but I did not find them.

I think I saw a sign about reduced hours till they close in October.
We didn't have reservations and seating was quick and service was too quick. We had lobster rolls...lobster tasted like it had been frozen. Go early to get in
Yes, i think the only thing is they just prefer them on a leash
