I stopped by to check out the park while passing through Christmas and was pleasantly surprised by how much there was to see! We'll have to stop by again when the weather is cooler to get a chance to check it all out. :) The main appeal would be lots of restored buildings (or replicas thereof) with antique furniture and relics that we can walk through and get a sense of what it was like to live in Florida long ago.

Very interesting and unique place to go. There's quite a few things to see and do. Many historical buildings transported here. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because the fort itself was undergoing some major repairs and was closed to the public. There are pavilions for people to gather and play ground for the kiddies.

Nice little small town with a lot of history. The park is nice and quite. They do Cracker Christmas every year. Homemade crafts and food all over the park. Well worth the trip. They had old buildings brought in from surrounding locations to preserve history.

This place has a outdoor museum. It's great historical representation of the old living in houses are amazing. Plus the playground is hug for kids to play on. It's a place you can go back to again and again.

Yes there is plenty of picnic areas very nice shaded very nice park fort Christmas is a very nice place to visit shame it's closed because of the coronavirus you can't go in any of the buildings but you can still wonder around and check out everything
They are opened now. 9am - 4pm every day.
I believe that's a question for the local city to answer. You should go to one of the meetings and tell them how you feel. I'm not from the area but it's the same in every city/ county. They have meetings for the local people to voice their opinions of how the budget is spent annually. Good luck.
Regards, It is completely free. When you get there, just start walking around, there's no need to stop by the main booth first if you don't need a map or more information.
Excellent park, you breathe tranquility, peace, nature... moments to enjoy with the family 👪
Only the playground is open, and you can walk around outside of buildings. But nothing is open inside( historic buildings, gift shop, fort) since March 2020 😭
Free. County run. Donations accepted.
There was no food available when I was there.

Fort Christmas is an Orange County Park, in Christmas, Florida. A replica of the original fort was built there and made into a museum about early settlers, military, and the Seminole Indians. There town and fort are named Christmas because the original fort was completed Christmas day.
