I’ve needed a filling for about 3 months and they keep rescheduling me. One time they actually rescheduled me when I was in the office waiting for my appointment. It’s telling when a dentist office is short staffed, so the employees are probably underpaid and inexperienced, not great for my teeth. The only time I received good service is when I inquired about $2500 Aligners. Once I paid, I was back to being treated terribly. Shame on me for trying to save a buck with DMO insurance, and this was the only nearby practice in network. After one pair of my Aligners cracked, I called twice for a replacement. 3 months later and I’m still waiting for a call back. All in all, I’d rather get a root canal then come back to this office, it’ll be less painful.

Many missed appointments for cleanings with only a couple hours notice from the office because the cleaning tech would call out too often. I had to reschedule a cleaning once and replied to their text that Coast sends out a few days prior. Then Coast gives me an earful about not canceling prior to 24 hours even though I did 3 days prior. But they seem to think it is OK if they screw your day all up with complete disregard because they call out often and with only a few hours notice. But, I dealt with this and overlooked it since it was just the cleanings. The worse part is that I had a bridge put in 6/21 that failed within 3 months. The back inside part came off the molar and would move all around on the front tooth. The back molar was almost flat in being prepared to hold the bridge. It needed more surface area in the build up to hold - more vertical, less flat doing the TP as I was told it is called. My current dentist also did not understand why a metal frame was not included to help hold the bridge together. I was told typically you put a metal frame in that area since it is the molars where heavy pressures are exerted. I spent over 3k to have this improperly done by Coast. So now I just spent another 3k to get it replaced and put together properly as stated previously. For the first time in over 9 months, I no longer have constant pain, no more cold / hot issues, and I can chew on that side again! The front office at Coast did a lousy job of estimating the cost for this bridge which ended up costing an additional 1200$ out of pocket on top of the copay. That seems to be a large amount to be off by a professional office when getting an estimate by experts. I had been in pain for the last 9 months until I could save up enough to get it repaired properly by a more properly trained and experienced dentist. Insurance does nothing the second time around. I did not go back to Coast to get this repaired since they have made so many mistakes and have had many issues over the years - it was time to get a competent dentist to do the work I needed, and get it right the first time. My wife gave up on them years ago, and she is obviously wiser than I. Coast has been horrible even though they did try to remedy some situations and I tried for years to deal with them. If you go to this office, just realize you may have to have your procedures done again. Then you will have to pay again, and go through the process and pain to get it done properly...again. Stay away from this place if you value your dental health and wish to not be taken advantage of or deal with an inexperienced staff that makes expensive mistakes for their patients.

I am not afraid to admit I am TERRIFIED of the dentist. Been going through hell trying to find a good dentist and one that will make me feel comfortable. This dentist office here…….they are phenomenal!!! The dentist himself (James Edward Gardner, III, DDS was patient with me, cracked jokes and most of all made me feel comfortable. His staff is just as phenomenal as he is. I am glad I decided to go with this office. YOU ROCK ♥️♥️♥️

I found the receptionists to be pleasant, efficient and helpful with getting me checked in. The facility was clean and comfortable and well equipped. The Hygienist was very pleasant and efficient taking care of everything I needed to have taken care of. I had only a short encounter with the dentist and found him to be pleasant and knowledgeable. Over all I had a good first tine experience.
