Tl;dr - Nice place, good management, fairly attentive maintenance, but I still have issues that have yet to be fixed. Water bill is shared amongst whole buildings, and the neighborhood seems peaceful, but I’ve heard a decent number of gunshots, although not close to the complex Overall, not too bad a place, I’d say it’s one of the better complexes in the area ---- The move in was easy, the office worked with me and Garcia was awesome, the community seems nice, and it’s not in too bad an area, but the condition of my apartment when I moved in was disappointing. The cabinets hadn’t been cleaned/cleared (spiders had made homes in my pantry as well as my kitchen cupboards), I barely have hot water, my windows don’t line up (and one is cracked), all of my drawers are broken, my patio door leaks, and, although there were few, cockroaches were wandering about everywhere. As everything is eventually fixed, I’ll change my review, but as of right now I’m less than thrilled with the start of this residence. UPDATE - I put some work orders in for the issues listed above, and within a week (maybe little more) they had already sent maintenance in to check and fix the problems! Found out that pest spraying happens on Thursdays, so my place has been doused a couple of times and the bugs have slowed down as well. Last thing I’m waiting on is getting hot water and having my dishwasher fixed (which didn’t work the first time I tried to use it) Once those things are finished up (I’m mostly concerned with having hot water), I have no qualms giving these apartments 5 stars! UPDATE 12/19 - Still don’t have hot water, have to turn on all the faucets on hot in order to MAYBE get a hot shower. On the topic of hot water: the bill is shared through your whole building, so if someone else uses an excessive amount, you’re paying for a portion of it. And, although this isn’t entirely the complexes fault, if I order something to my apartment, it’s almost immediately stolen. Just a bit irritating, and doesn’t make me feel great about the community. UPDATE 02/20 - I’ve been hearing gunshots around the neighborhood fairly regularly, although I’ve not had any confrontations, and it’s usually away from this complex. I’ve never heard them here. The area this complex is in seems to be a sweet spot; decently quiet most of the time and it looks fairly nice. And as for this complex, despite my complaints, seems to do a good job at keeping things orderly. They have policies in place where people aren’t just tossing their trash everywhere, or letting their kids run wild. Patios are also required to be uncluttered, which means a lot more than you’d expect. Compared to the other apartments around here, this one seems the most stable. I would still suggest it if you’re wanting to live in the area FINAL UPDATE - If there's something SUPER wrong with your apartment, like the water doesn't work properly, they will NOT fix it. They'll tell you they will, and will act like they're doing something, but will do nothing about it Also had the office manager at the time (may be someone different now) begin to treat me differently because of my situation during COVID (money-related). I made all of my payments, and did my best to notify the office if something weird was going on in or around the complex, so I wasn't trouble as a tenant (from what I could tell). But be prepared for a possible lack of empathy if you have less means than most

Ive lived here for almost 2 years. I accidentally parked into a reserved spot and they weren't truthful about why my car was gone. It was dark outside and the reserved wording was on one side. Such a shame i had to pay for something that wasn't completely my fault.

Went for an apartment viewing and there were roaches. Idk how it's getting such a high review. Definitely go see for yourself before making a decision.

The staff is nice and attentive, but this is a very unsafe location. Please do not move here especially if you are an individual living alone. I moved here being new to Dallas, so I did not know how unsafe this neighborhood was. I was about a month and a half into my lease when I was followed by a man when I was trying to walk into my apartment. I reported the incident and was told “I am sorry that happened to you, but I have never heard of that happening”. I decided to stick it out and move on. The next day after reporting the incident there was a very scary domestic dispute across from me in which an individual was shoved and hit my door. I called the police and was on standby until 5am almost and no one came. I was so scared that I would lose sleep and would cry every night for weeks. I wish I was exaggerating. I decided to break my lease and pay the fines. I would pay then again, because my sense of security and well being is priceless. I have moved into a safer area with a gate due to my experience here. I am sharing my experience to bring awareness. I met another young woman that lived at one of these properties and had a very similar experience. I do not wish that anyone risk their safety. Yes the staff is great but ones sense of security matters much more than that.
